¡Hola Chicos!
El día de ayer fue nuestro cuarto evento de Convinarte, y por ende debía pintar un cuadro de muestra para que las personas que asistieran pudieran guiarse y tener una idea para su cuadro.
Me ha quedado la experiencia de eventos anteriores que no debe ser algo tan complejo y al mismo tiempo no debe ser tampoco tan sencillo para que las personas no lo terminen tan rápido. El evento tienen una duración aproximada de 2-3 horas.
Tenía varias ideas en mente aunque no contaba con muchos colores, principalmente no teníamos pintura de color azul. Hasta que por fin encontré unos cuadros de cactus y me pareció chévere hacer algo así.

Yesterday was our fourth Convinarte event, and therefore I had to paint a sample painting so that people who attended could be guided and have an idea for their painting.
I have learned from previous events that it should not be so complex and at the same time it should not be so simple so that people do not finish it so fast. The event will last approximately 2-3 hours.
I had several ideas in mind although I didn't have many colors, mainly we didn't have blue paint. Until I finally found some cactus paintings and it seemed cool to do something like this.
Antes de pintar el lienzo decidí hacer una prueba sobre papel, para tener una idea de como luciría la pintura terminada.
Este lienzo esta preparado con gesso. En mi blog pueden encontrar el procedimiento para hacerlos en casa. Es bien sencillo.
Para la base utilicé un color piel, el cual mezclé con un poco de blanco para aclarar un poco.
Este lo apliqué con ayuda de una esponja.
Before painting the canvas I decided to do a test on paper, to get an idea of what the finished painting would look like.
This canvas is prepared with gesso. In my blog you can find the procedure to make them at home. It is very simple.
For the base I used a skin color, which I mixed with a little white to lighten it a little.
I applied it with the help of a spatula.

Una vez seca la pintura de base tracé la silueta del cactus con la pintura verde.
Luego pinté el interior del cactus. Esto me costó un poco porque no tenía los pinceles adecuados. Los míos son súper pequeños y los que tengo de mayor tamaño tienen las cerdas muy duras.
Once the base paint was dry I traced the silhouette of the cactus with the green paint.
Then I painted the inside of the cactus. This was a little difficult because I didn't have the right brushes. Mine are super small and the larger ones I have have have very stiff bristles.
Para las luces y sombras quise usar las pinturas fucsia y turquesa. Me pareció súper chévere darle este toque diferente.
Cuando terminé de pintar con estos colores recordé el cartel que tienen en ese restaurant, tiene los mismos colores y me pareció súper coincidir con eso, sin querer queriendo.
For the lights and shadows I wanted to use the fuchsia and turquoise paints. I thought it was super cool to give this different touch.
When I finished painting with these colors I remembered the sign they have in that restaurant, it has the same colors and it seemed to me to coincide with that, without wanting to.
Luego mezclando el fucsia con un poco de verde creé un tono marrón el cual utilicé para darle sombra a una parte de las formas del cactus.
Logrado esto hice las flores mezclando varios colores como el turquesa, fucsia, rojo, morado y amarillo.
Then mixing the fuchsia with a bit of green I created a brown tone which I used to shade a part of the cactus shapes.
After that I made the flowers mixing various colors such as turquoise, fuchsia, red, purple and yellow.
Finalmente agregué las pequeñas espinas en color negro y blanco.
Así quedó lista la pintura para el gran evento. Hay muchas cosas que sentía que no quedaron exactamente como quería pero era por la falta de un pincel ideal para esto.
Igual como les comenté es una referencia para los asistentes del evento.
Finally I added the small thorns in black and white.
This is how the painting was ready for the big event. There are many things that I felt were not exactly as I wanted but it was due to the lack of an ideal brush for this.
As I said, it is a reference for the attendees of the event.
A pesar de los tropiezos en el proceso logré hacer un cuadro que a mi parecer quedó bastante lindo. Me gustó mucho este estilo de pintura y sin duda lo practicaré más para lograr mejores resultados en un futuro.
Esto se pintar cuadros de muestra me ha motivado a retomar la pintura. Así que pronto les estaré compartiendo más trabajos. ☺️✨
In spite of the stumbles in the process I managed to make a painting that in my opinion was quite nice. I really liked this style of painting and I will certainly practice it more to achieve better results in the future.
This has motivated me to take up painting again. So soon I will be sharing more of my work. ☺️✨
