A few days ago I had the opportunity to meet again with a cousin who has been living the last few years in Brazil. She came to visit with her little girl whom I did not know so it was a very fruitful visit.
My cousin and I were very close when we were little and I stayed over at her house many times. But when we grew up we drifted apart for various reasons. Then, because of a reunion we did between cousins I had the opportunity to get back in touch with her, I even made her join Hive haha 😊
Since then we have been super close and we talk almost daily. That day we met I went to my aunt's house, where we made up a family art session, something similar to what I do in my Convinarte events, although this time I was not an instructor but a participant.
Both my aunt and my cousin have a background in art so there was no need for me to guide them. They did super well. At the end we took this beautiful group photo with our works of art and we took some family photos to remember that day. They were leaving a few days later to go back to Brazil and we didn't have the chance to meet again.
It was sad not to be able to share more than that but at least we were left with good memories of that day. 💜
Hace algunos días tuve la oportunidad de reencontrarme con una prima que ha estado viviendo los últimos años en Brasil. Vino de visita con su pequeña a la cual no conocía así que fue una visita muy provechosa.
Mi prima y yo éramos muy cercanas de pequeñas y yo me quedé infinidad de veces en su casa a dormir. Pero cuando crecimos nos alejamos por diversas razones. Luego, a raíz de un reencuentro que hicimos entre primas tuve la oportunidad de retomar contacto con ella, inclusive hice que se uniera a Hive jaja 😊
Desde entonces hemos estado súper cercanas y hablamos casi que a diario. Ese día que nos vimos fui a casa de mi tía, dónde nos inventamos una sesión de arte familiar, algo similar a lo que hago en mis eventos Convinarte, aunque en esta ocasión no estuve de instructora sino de participante.
Tanto mi tía como mi prima tienen conocimientos en el arte entonces no era necesario que las guiara. Lo hicieron súper bien. Al finalizar nos tomamos esta bonita foto grupal con nuestras obras de arte y aprovechamos de tomarnos unas fotos familiares para recordar ese día. Ellas se iban a los pocos días de regreso a Brasil y no tuvimos oportunidad de encontrarnos nuevamente.
Fue triste no poder compartir más que eso pero al menos nos quedaron buenos recuerdos de ese día. 💜
