I categorize division is an illness that kills progress in any sphere. No organization or gathering can stand where division thrives. And it is funny because people know these things and yet they fall victim of it.
Unity is very important for progress. We must agitate for unity in our endeavors because it makes work easier and faster.
Furthermore, I would not really subscribe to less division but rather no division. Because less division still has division in play and this can be an hinderance to the progress of any group.
I will therefore conclude by saying, try to eradicate any form of division (if it is possible), so as to make your group move ahead. It would not be easy but it is worth the try.
