Hello Beautiful Ladies of Hive, It’s been quite a while since I last connected here. Life has been busy, juggling work and taking care of the kids, leaving me with little to no free time. But I’m back now, and it feels good to be here again!
First and foremost, I want to thank God for bringing us to the end of the year. It’s no small feat, and I’m deeply grateful. I also appreciate every one of you for being part of this journey. By the grace of God, we will celebrate the end of next year too. Amin.
Although I’m joining a bit late, I came across this contest by @priyanarc, and it truly resonated with me. The topic is: “What’s something you want to prioritize in the coming year?”
Reflecting on this year, I’m thankful for the little victories, even though things haven’t always gone as planned. Looking back at my goals, I can proudly say I’ve achieved something meaningful. I learned a new skill! While I’m far from perfect, I’m committed to improving and making progress step by step. Here are samples of designs I made with Canva myself.
What Do I Want to Prioritize in the Coming Year?
****1.My Happiness****
This might sound simple, but as a woman, prioritizing your happiness is incredibly important. Life is full of challenges, and as a mom, figuring yourself out can sometimes feel overwhelming. But I’ve learned that small moments of happiness, no matter how fleeting can lift your mood and give you strength.
While things may not always go as expected, I want to focus on finding joy in the little things. It’s those small moments that make the bigger challenges easier to face.
Despite the hurdles, it’s important to carve out a little space for your happiness. Life can be overwhelming, but being grateful for the gift of life itself is a powerful starting point.
Just recently, I witnessed a heartbreaking story. A young, healthy couple who had only recently wedded came to our facility for a routine check-up. This morning, I heard the devastating news that both of them passed away due to food poisoning.
This experience reminded me that life is fragile and unpredictable. No matter how tough things get, we should prioritize our happiness and cherish the life we have until we achieve our dreams.
2.Perfecting My Skills
I have a passion for design, and over the past months, I’ve spent some time learning Canva. While it’s user-friendly and comes with helpful templates, I’ve realized its limitations.
To grow and become better, I need to dive deeper into professional design tools like CorelDRAW and Photoshop. Balancing this with my job won’t be easy, but I’m determined to improve my skills and take my designs to the next level.
These are the two key areas I want to focus on in the coming year, happiness and skill development. Life will always throw challenges our way, but what truly matters is how we respond. My personal approach is to take a step back, worry less, and focus on finding solutions after clearing my mind.
To all the amazing women in this community:
Don’t give up. Don’t look down on yourself or let setbacks define you. If something isn’t working out as you hoped, take a moment, make yourself happy, and then face it with renewed energy. Sometimes, all we need is a breather to recharge and refocus.
Thank you for reading! I appreciate every one of you. Wishing you all a lovely day.
