Greeting fellow lovers of good jewelries. I hope ypu are all good in your different destinations and locations. It has been an amazing week already for me and my family. And i must say this is the best week for me so far as more beautiful weeks are coming forth.
Let me give you a little story behind this lovely sunflower earing.
On a very good evening on tuesday, me and my best girl went for an evening stroll and it was in a very cool and calm enverionment. It was a kind of a mini estate. We sighted a lot of flowers of which one flower catches my attention. It was that of the sunflower 🌻 i cut it and had a bit of inhale, i told best girl that the sent was so nice and that one of these day i will recreat the flower using wool.
So yesterday while i was a bit less busy i decided to go ahead with making this beautiful sunflower. This flower is so lively if u see it in physical. It can bring back good memories.
The materials used
Yellow wool. Brown wool, earing hooks, knitting pin and scissors
I started by doing five single crochet inside a round wool i did using the brown wool. Then i made it to be tight and went to do the second rown
I did double of the first row which gives me a total of ten single crochet. I did this by putting two single crochet in each of the first single crochet at the first row.
Then i rolled the yellow wool on one of my finger that is after making two of the circle using the brown wool
Then on top of the last row i stared doing a single chain of seven and then i went to doing a puff puff stitch on it. I made the puff puff to be heavy so that it will bring out the beauty of the flowers. After the puff puff stitches i needed to go to the next flower petals i had to do two single crochet downward to the next line.
Then i started another puff puff stitches after the slip stitches was made.
I made a total of five flower petals using the yellow wool.
To add beauty to my sunflower earing i decided to used the brown wool to go at the top of one of the puff puff stitches and then did ten single chain and bend it downward to make a circle.
Then i made five single crochet, three double crochet and then another five single crochet and then i tie it .
Then i put the earings hooks at the end and decided to snap it and show you all here.
