In this part Guts Shepard and his crew went to have an audience with the Council. Along the way we met another turian officer named Garrus. He was investigating Saren but could not find any real dirt because Saren's activities were classified. Still Garrus wished us a good luck bringing Saren down. After that we met with the Council. Saren claimed to be innocent of all charges and the Council believed him because we did not have any hard evidence. Then captain Anderson and Ambassador Udina suggested that we should speak with Garrus again. They did not knew were Garrus may be but they believed that some loser named Harkin could know more. So we had to go to a dirty strip club- Chora's Den. Along the way there we met with salarian Chorban who was scanning weird creatures know as Keepers. We needed more money so we offered to help him.
In the Chora's Den we saw a krogan Wrex threatening to kill the owner crime lord named Fist. After that we spoke with a drunk Harkin. He told us that we can find Garrus in the med clinic. Once we went there some thugs were threatening Dr. Chloe Michel and Garrus shot one of them. Doctor told us about a quarian who has evidence of Saren's treason and was looking for Fist. Garrus offered to help us and suggested that we could also look for krogan bounty hunter Wrex.
Outside of the med clinic we met with journalist Emily. She wanted to get information about Fist. Then we met with Wrex and he joined our crew. Then we went back to the Chora's Den to confront Fist. He told us that he sent quarian to the ambush of Saren men. Wrex killed Fist. After that we saved quarian named Tali and asked her to show evidence of Saren betrayal to Udina and Anderson. Tali had a recording of Saren speaking with his top agent Benezia. They spoke about return of synthetics called the Reapers.
After that we had to bring the evidence to the Council. But before that we met with a man called Bhatia and helped him get his wife's corpse. The Council finally believed that Saren was guilty and made Guts Shepard first human spectre and asked us to find and stop Saren.
Then we helped asari Consort Sha'ira who had troubles with a turian general Septimus who she rejected.
