In this game our main mission is to find our adopted daughter Ciri and protect her from the Wild Hunt. Recently we found Ciri and fought with the Wild Hunt at Witchers fortress. In that battle our mentor and father figure Vesemir was killed. e avenged him and now are preparing for the final battle against the Wild Hunt.
In this part we spoke with Yen and Ciri. Ciri told us that Avallac'h is hiding something- he has a laboratory and was not willing to take Ciri there in the past. So our trio of main characters decided to investigate the lab and uncover Avallac'h secrets. We traveled there and found many portaits of Ciri. We also found Ciri's family tree. In Avallac'h notes we found out that elven sage was interested in Ciri and tried to create a similar gene but without humans genes mixing in it. We also found a Avallac'h lover? She elf was very proud and bitter. She clearly despised Ciri. Talking with her really pissed Ciri off so we helped her to vent and pretty much destroyed Avallac'h lab. Yen also joined in on the fun- she drew a beard on Avallac'h portrait. After that we traveled with Ciri to visit her friend's Skjall's grave. It turned out that villagers desecrated his body and threw it out in the pit. We gave him a proper burial. This angered the villagers who believed that Skjall died as a coward and did not deserve no respect. But we told the villagers that they will regret it if they will as much as touch Skjall's grave.
After that we traveled with Philippa Eilhart to look for the Sunstone in some cave. While searching for the artifact we spoke with Philippa Eilhart. She tried to convince us to leave Ciri alone( so she could be manipulated by Philippa). We told the sneaky sorceress that if the need will arise we will defend Ciri from Philippa. After that she tried to put a wedge between us and Yen. Her goal was to remove Yen's influence on Emperor and Ciri. Her plans were doomed to failure-in the past we did not take Ciri to see Emperor. So it means that Ciri will not take over the empire.
We spoke with Avallac'h and said that we are ready for the final battle against the Wild Hunt. After that Yen came to us. She was worried about our chances to win. She also asked us to leave the politics and be together with her. We said that we would travel anywhere with Yen. After that Avallac'h used the Sunstone to summon the Wild Hunt's ship. We were waiting for this moment and had set a trap. It was time to start a final battle.
First we defeated another general of the Wild Hunt- Caranthir. After that we saw king of Wild Hunt Eredin kill our friend Crach an Craite. After that we fought with the king of Wild Hunt. He said that he has something to tell us but he will do so after we will be dying. His prediction was wrong. First we wonded him by taking out his eye. After that we finished Eredin off. Before his death king of Wild Hunt said that Avallac'h made us fight Wild Hunt and after took Ciri. During this conversation with Eredin a literal apocalypse started. The worlds were merging and many monsters appeared. After that we and Yen rushed towards a magical tower where Ciri and Avallac'h were. We intended to kill Avallac'h but he and Ciri convinced us that Ciri was were willingly. It turns out that Ciri intended to stop the White Frost- a cataclysm that destroys all worlds. Ciri went into a portal and stopped the White Frost. After that we met with her biological father Emperor Emhyr Var Emreis and told him that Ciri died by stopping the White Frost.
After that we met with a swordsmith and he forged us an awesome sword. Then we went to the inn and found out that Ciri is alive and the new sword is a gift for her. The game ended with Ciri choosing to be a witcher and Geralt living happily with Yen.
