warning: long post.
Last time we started working on fulfilling second wish of nobleman named Olgierd von Everec- to entertain his dead brother's ghost. We found their family's crypt with the help of our friend and former lover medic Shani. We spoke with Vlodimir's(Olgierd's brother's) ghost and then he decided to posses our body. After that Shani invited us to her friend's wedding. Vlodimir being Vlodimir he started insulting Shani's friend's new husband. The ghost also really liked Shani so he was flirting with her like crazy.
This time we partook in many of wedding's activities. At first we spoke with bride's parent's. They had hired a fire eater to perform at the wedding. But a dog named Daemon broke free and chased fire eater away. So we offered to find the performer. We found him sitting at the tree scared of the little dog. We influenced the dog's mind and told him to go home. After that we asked fire eater how he does his trick. It turns out that it is not so special. He just drink some mixture that let's him eat fire. After that we were supposed to walk him to the wedding but we rushed too far and he was killed by a wild boar. So we returned to the wedding empty handed and performed some juggling instead.
After that we saw a group of halflings playing Gwent. Vlodimir greeted them by calling them a midget. This reminded me that the coach of my favorite basketball team also called a player a midget one time. Anyway we joined the halflings and won a game of Gwent. I was glad because Vlodimir wanted to bet all our money...
After that we saw Gaunter o'Dimm/ master mirror at the wedding. Then we danced with Shani and Vlodimir jumped in for a kiss. After that we spoke Master Mirror. He insulted Vlodimir and was able to see his ghost. Unlike everyone else... Gaunter o'Dimm also questioned if Vlodimir was as dear to his brother Olgierd.
After that we took part in peasant game of chasing pigs into a pen. We won a prize(toy pig) for Shani. After that we asked her why she has not succumbed to Vlodimir's ,,charms''. Shani said that perhaps Vlodimir is not just not her type. After that the ghost decided to prove that he is every girl's type. To do that we had to seduce a girl chosen by Shani. So we chatted her up. Paid her a few compliments and then suggested we go behind the barn...Perhaps she would had even accepted this offer. But then her three brothers came and wanted to beat us for trying to seduce their sister. So we broke a plank from the fence and beat up all three girl's brothers.
After that we played another game- Shani threw her shoe to a pond and we jumped in to find it. We also took all other shoes that were sunken in the pond. Also it Vlodimir took off most of his clothes but kept glasses? Interesting how that works.
After that bride threw away a bouquet of flowers and Shani caught it- so she should be the next to wed. Vlodimir at that time used our blood to write a letter for his brother Olgierd and tell that we fulfilled the second wish and entertained Vlodimir. After that Vlodimir made a speech that peasants would have taken as both an insult and a compliment.
Vlodimir did not want to keep his promise to stop possessing us after midnight. So Gaunter o'Dimm appeared again and started torturing the ghost of Vlodimir. Master Mirror was just biting an apple but each time he took a bite Vlodimir was screaming in pain. Gaunter o'Dimm did not have to torment Vlodimir. He just did it because he could...After that Vlodimir released us and returned to his crypt. Shani went away and Master Mirror gave us some advice how to romance her. So we picked some flowers and went to talk with Shani.
After that we went on a walk with Shani. We were discussing what her mother would accept as suitable husband for Shani. We saw the three brothers who we beat up previously. They were no longer protecting their sister because they were sleeping. I believe that their sister during that time got together with some peasant. But I am not completely sure that it was the same girl. We took a boat and slept with Shani. This was not really cheating on Yen because Yen mostly only cares that we would not sleep with Triss and other girls are pretty much fair game.
After that we went to see Olgierd, give him Vlodimir's letter and tell him that we fulfilled his second wish. Olgierd tried to prolong the conversation by asking if we ever loved someone. We answered him but also insisted that he would say his last wish. So he did- the last time he saw his wife, Olgierd gave her a violet rose. We have to bring him that rose despite the fact that it is probably long gone...
