December is a month with short days in our area. This means that the sun rises and sets early, too. 5 p.m. seems like an evening in our area. It is already dark. Well, we cannot complain since it is a natural phenomenon.
When the 5-day training ended, we were back into our normal work tasks. I needed to wake up early since my husband and I had different paths during working time. Since it was already a short day, my husband fetched me from my workstation seemed like evening because the sun had already set. I had no complaints also about it because for this month, my husband and I need to work for three weeks or fifteen days and the rest of the week of this month is a work break and after this month, it would be long days.
Despite thinking about the work break, these two days of the month seem like a week to me. It is just because the two days were intended for giving an assessment. It was a stressful two days and not only that, being a worker, there is another task that I need to accomplish for this week and it will happen tomorrow. Just thinking about it, I know my physical and mental health will be used.
So, today, after having our dinner, I convinced my husband to throw our waste accumulated for two weeks and he decided to use the minivan as the carrier for the waste. When we finished throwing our waste, we passed a store selling ice cream, and we decided to buy the so-called "cornato" ice cream. I think buying the ice cream was good timing for achieving the two-day assessment and the incoming task that I should do tomorrow. It was also a double rewarding for us since we were able to throw our trash today.
Anyway, as you can see, we chose different flavors, my husband really likes chocolate, and for me, it depends on my mood, and today, I decided to choose the vanilla ice cream.
