I wanted to share my thoughts on the question by @priyanarc 1️⃣ How do you define a meaningful life, and do you feel you are living one? I'm very interested to share my point of view about living a meaningful life. I know, my idea is way different from yours, but I hope I can put some little input based on my experience.
The picture is owned by my husband.
As a woman who experienced a life where my parents worked as ordinary laborers. Their salary was just good for one day and they needed to work every day to have food on the table. The good thing about it was my parents were hardworking and tried their best to provide the basic needs of the family which led them into debt. They were able to manage because me and my brother finished college even though my parents were ordinary laborers.
If I would compare my life before and now. I would say that we’re living better than before. My parents can pay the previous debt. Even though my parents are still working since they are still able to do so, nowadays we can afford things that we did not think we could afford before.
Now, my father had a motorcycle that he used every day as a means of travel. Way back before, we would just walk or commute if we wanted to travel to Bogo City. So, I never thought that we could now afford the wants in our life.
I would say, a meaningful life means having improvement in your life. Despite still having problems, if you could look back on the past, we could say that we’re living meaningfully since we’re doing our best to make progress in our lives. It means you continue living and trying hard to give meaning to living.
From the words above, I can proudly say that I’m living a meaningful life. A life that is full of purpose, a purpose to keep living and gain positive life changes.
The picture above is proof that I’m living a meaningful life. I was able to travel to other places and was able to afford the products offered by the Kapenarra Cafe.
