Good day, Hiveans! I’m back again with another blog. I hope the same as usual, you’re fine while reading my blog.

In my previous blog, I shared that I went to Simala Shrine alone for the first time and it never happened again as of this moment. It was because, after my solo visit, I was accompanied by my family and always my husband.

It was December 2016, when me and my husband visited the Simala Shrine for the first time together. We were not in a relationship this time and we were just friends. We have known each other since high school. We were classmates in high school until college.

I was confident that I was safe to be with him riding the motorcycle since I knew his story. It was not my first time riding the vehicle because I was once a passenger when he went home from Cebu City to Tabogon during our college days. It was the evening after our last class, and we immediately traveled back home. At first, I was nervous since it was my first time riding a motorcycle going back home and I was more confident with the bus. Seeing those big trucks on the road while I was in the small motor made me feel like it was the end. Hahaha Luckily, I arrived safe and sound and proved that he drove safely.

Since then, every time that I need to travel far and no available bus or jeep around, I will ask a favor from him to drive me to my destination. It was not different when I asked him to drive me to Simala Shrine. My first time traveling to the south using the motor. His motor at that time was an ordinary one, not those used for motocross like he had now but a cute one. When he described it, it was a low-profile vehicle.

We traveled early from our town to Sibonga, Cebu. We arrived at the Simala Shrine at approximately 2 p.m. We did not have a chance to attend the mass, but we did the necessary things while in the shrine-like lighting a candle and saying how grateful we were that we arrived safely and wishes to Mama Mary.

Since we had still time to explore before we went home, we decided to do a road trip to Osmena Peak located in Dalaguete, Cebu. I am just curious about the place and my husband was interested too. We did not climb the mountain we were just familiarized with the place. Well, the road to reach the place is steep but manageable since the road is wide. The place for me is safe and secure.

After, we went home safe and sound.

Thank you for reaching this far. If you want to inspire, learn, and witness beautiful scenery, experiences, and places, do not forget to follow, upvote, and reblog my post to support and motivate me to write more. Thank you.
