Yesterday morning the PDC was on while I wrote my post and in the end Peter Wright beat Luke Littler to win which is a rather big surprise. In what wasn't a big surprise Man Utd looked like absolute beginners and got totally destroyed. Went from a top tier team to the laughing stock of EPL.
It was finally time, we had put it off for far too long and had to drain the tub water and clean it real well. First is to drop the cleanser in and let the jets all open blast for half an hour while I stand next to it and scoop scum bubbles and dump them on the ground.
Oils and dirt from our skins is mostly what is removed from the system.
Eventually the cleaning solution was done and I tossed the pump in to speed up the emptying process.
Once the water is mostly out by pump we use the water gun sprayers to suck the rest out of the bottom.
I pulled all the jets out and they went to a tub to go in the house to soak in vinegar.
While @stryeyz worked on the jets I went out to the garden to get the harvest done finally.
As I took the squash to weigh I opened the coop door to find this beauty on her web having just grabbed a bug.
She is right in front of the window directly over my scale, but nicely she knew NOT to connect her web to the scale.
She's not quite as hairy as the other ones too.
I was then in the greenhouse and as I was picking through the tomatoes I came across this great black wasp.
It saw me seeing it and walked around until it stopped here and just watched me as I got the picture.
Full tub from the greenhouse went to the house.
The jets cleaned I went to go put them back in the tub but found that every one of the spinning jets are broken. The nubs on the sides of the balls are all sheared off so we have to get 13 new jets, ones that don't spin and that can be aimed.
I got the water filling and all the jets put back then turned it on to begin heating up.
For the afternoon we headed up to Elk park for a get together with a few other families. The river runs through the park and has a number of swimming holes and is quite popular.
I love wolf hounds, they are such awesome dogs and never have a bad attitude.
The kids all had a blast and were between the ship fort thing and the water.
I went down stream a bit and saw J mashing through the water.
R saw a crawdad on a rock and Tyson came over and grabbed it quick to haul around for a bit.
We got home after 5pm and the rest of the evening we watched a few things while hoping the hot tub would be warm enough but it wasn't so I crashed early. Today I have my IFS appointment mid morning and was hoping to fly but the winds will be wrong. I have tons to do around the farm so will likely spend my day trying to get the sheds progressed.
