The first round of rain hit yesterday morning and it moved through pretty fast. Only a couple hours in all before it was past us to the east. Only about a tenth of an inch of rain fell.
The PDC finals day went on and there were some serious upsets.
Man Utd are awful. They are going to get relegated this season, just watch. Last time they were relegated was the 1973/74 season, 50 years ago... They are working hard at making it happen this year!
After the abortion of a match I put the PDC back on and in the end Edhouse won a well deserved title. He has been in good form the past few months and easily got past Wattimena to win.
While watching I pulled apart another pack and separated the cells, tested, and then put the cells all together in their tray. I've figured out the easiest way to pry the case apart and then I use a piece of plastic to pry the case half from the cells.
The Seahawks played a home game and got trounced by the Bills. They had started the season good but now are nose diving off the cliff. Even some fights between the players due to the dumb ass plays.
I got the spot welder and got it charged up fully before I could give it a try.
The plants in the house had to go t the studio as they were just in the way in the living room. Today I have to make sure to water them good. I should dig out the polymer crystals to add to the pots to give them more water retention.
With the welder I got a pack of 1s BMS boards to make 3.7 volt packs. I found one of the waterproof cases fits the cells perfectly with exactly enough space for the LoRa board on top. It took a bit to get the right setting but I got the nickle strips welded onto the batteries then to the BMS.
The batteries fit exactly in the case. I have to mount the antenna plug through the top and port the solar panel cord in somewhere. This will be my main Meshtastic node that I will mount on a tree on the upper property.
The boys did the cutting up of the veggies for the freeze dryer. Peppers and celery primarily with a bit of garlic to see how it comes out.
Got out to soak for a while before heading for bed.
Today will be more rain mid day, I need to roll a new bale of hay into the sheep pen, it's a short week for the boys and @stryeyz, I really need to keep cutting on the stump since it is only a 1/3 of it left, get the mesh node working correctly, wash laundry, and gather the materials for the patio roof extension and maybe install it.
