I have talked and will continue to do so in a section of the blog about animals that are harmful to the garden, but there are also many animals that are beneficial to the garden. These are the predators that help us control pests in the most efficient and clean way possible. Our job will be to attract them and respect them so that they can help us get the best harvests.

Snakes are another of those animals with a bad reputation that are, however, great allies of humans and help us avoid the dreaded plagues, especially from rodents or rabbits.
Snakes have a bad reputation because of their appearance and also because there are some that are very dangerous due to their poison.
But this only happens in some regions, especially in South America, Asia and Africa. Although there are poisonous snakes in almost all continents, they are only a minority and a larger minority can be deadly.
Having snakes in our garden may not be pleasant but it is very useful. Above all we have to know the species to know if it is dangerous or not. If it is not, we can leave it alone to do its job, which will help us with the harvest. If it is, then we will have to take other measures to protect ourselves.
Thank you very much for supporting my blog and I look forward to your comments.!
