I have talked and will continue to do so in a section of the blog about animals that are harmful to the garden, but there are also many animals that are beneficial to the garden. These are the predators that help us control pests in the most efficient and clean way possible. Our job will be to attract them and respect them so that they can help us get the best harvests.

The Blue Creeper is a very useful insect-eating bird for gardeners who have fruit trees, as it attacks all kinds of tree pests. It is a small bird, about 12 cm long, which is difficult to see, as its favourite way of moving is jumping from tree to tree. It looks more like a squirrel than a bird.
With a short tail and a beautiful blue plumage, it has a rather shrill song. It is a forest bird, so if you don't have an orchard in an area surrounded by trees, you won't see it visiting you. To see it, you have to look at the trunk of the trees and you will see how a small thing is hopping to climb. Along the way, it hunts its prey, doing an incredible job of deworming them. The good thing for the gardener, in addition to its pest control, is that it nests in artificial nests, so it is possible to attract it to our trees.
Thank you very much for supporting my blog and I look forward to your comments.!
