I hope you are having a happy vacation, although probably in other places in the world, you are not on vacation time, in Venezuela we have had a school vacation period, much longer than usual, long time has passed since my last publication by this beautiful house, the truth is that, we have spent some difficult times, due to the country situation, and Mathias, has been affected by it, because, although at home we do not talk about politics or problems of the country, in front of him, the truth is that currently wherever we go, is the trending topic, on the other hand, when he left school vacation earlier than agreed, he was told that it was because of the electoral issue, concerts and recitals of the music school, were also rescheduled by the electoral issue, so, although I wanted to keep him isolated from the subject, it was impossible.
But, I have not come to talk about the country, but, to tell you a little about how it has been having Mathias at home, for almost a month, without being able to go out to do recreational activities, the poor thing was already climbing the walls, and is that, although at home we have good internet, has some video games and a lot of toys, he needed to play outdoors, share with other children, and ultimately, Thank God, last week the vacation activities of the homework school were reactivated, and his flute teacher ventured into a vacation plan where in addition to teaching recorder lessons, they would advance a little the subject of music theory and musical language, which is something that he will begin to see in this new school year at the music school.
We closed the school year with excellent grades at school, a 19/20, equivalent to a "B" in the current evaluation scheme of primary education, and while it is true that Mathias longed to get an "A", I must say that I am very proud of his grade, since he did not get the perfect grade, because of his character and how naughty he is, I mean, he doesn't lack intelligence, on the contrary, I think he has plenty of it hahaha, on the other hand, as for recorder and cuatro, he got an 18/20 and 16/20, respectively, likewise, for being so naughty, however, I am satisfied with his performance, although I know he can improve even more, and I am sure he will.
These results in Mathias, made me remember what was my childhood, because I was never in any extracurricular activity, other than homework, and, on the other hand, I was never to propose the goal of achieving a specific grade, let's say that if I did well I did not give much importance, in adolescence that changed, But in elementary school, I was a basically average student, nothing exceptional, probably did not stand out, more than my hair always disheveled hahaha, and see how my little earthquake, has managed to excel in several areas of study and demonstrated that it is the size of the challenge that put him, does not do more than fill me with pride.

¡Hola mamis y papis! Espero estén pasando unas felices vacaciones, aunque probablemente en otros lugares del mundo, no están en época de vacaciones, en Venezuela nos ha tocado un periodo de vacaciones escolares, bastante más largo de lo común, largo rato ha pasado desde mi última publicación por esta hermosa casa, la verdad es que, hemos pasado momentos un poco difíciles, debido a la situación país, y Mathias, se ha visto afectado por ello, pues, aunque en casa no hablamos de política o problemas del país, delante de él, la verdad es que actualmente a donde quiera que vamos, es el trending topic, por otro lado, cuando salió de vacaciones escolares antes de lo acordado, le dijeron que era por el tema electoral, los conciertos y recitales de la escuela de música, también fueron reprogramados por el tema electoral, así pues, aunque lo quería mantener aislado del tema, fue algo imposible.
Pero, no he venido a hablar del tema país, sino, a contarles un poco como ha sido tener a Mathias en casa, por casi un mes, sin poder salir a hacer actividades recreacionales, el pobre ya estaba que se trepaba a las paredes, y es que, aunque en casa tenemos buen internet, tiene algunos videojuegos y un montón de juguetes, le hacía falta jugar en exteriores, compartir con otros niños, y en definitiva, salir de casa jajaja, gracias a Dios, la semana pasada se reactivaron las actividades vacacionales de la escuela de tareas dirigidas, y su profesor de flauta se aventuró a un plan vacacional en donde además de impartir clases de flauta dulce, adelantarían un poco el tema de solfeo y lenguaje musical, lo cual es algo que comenzara a ver en este nuevo año escolar en la escuela de música.
Cerramos el año escolar con excelentes calificaciones en el colegio, un 19/20, equivalente a una “B” en el esquema de evaluación actual de la educación primaria, y si bien es cierto, que Mathias añoraba obtener una “A”, yo debo decir que me siento orgullosísima de su calificación, ya que, no obtuvo la calificación perfecta, por su carácter y lo travieso que es, es decir, inteligencia no le falta, por el contrario, creo que le sobra jajaja, por otro lado, en cuanto a las cátedras de flauta dulce y cuatro, obtuvo un 18/20 y 16/20, respectivamente, de igual manera, por ser tan travieso, sin embargo, me siento satisfecha con su desempeño, aunque sé que puede mejorar aún más, y estoy segura de que así será.
Estos resultados en Mathias, me hizo recordar lo que fue mi niñez, pues yo nunca estuve en ninguna actividad extracurricular, que no fueran las tareas dirigidas, y, por otro lado, nunca fui de proponerme la meta de alcanzar una nota en específico, digamos que, si salía bien no le daba mucha importancia, en la adolescencia eso cambio, pero en la escuela primaria, fui un alumno básicamente promedio, nada excepcional, probablemente no destacaba, más que por mi cabello siempre desaliñado jajaja, y ver como mi pequeño terremoto, ha logrado destacar en varias áreas de estudio y demostrado que es del tamaño del reto que le pongan, no hace más, que llenarme de orgullo.
