Happy weekend mommies and daddies! I hope you are enjoying a well deserved rest, after a week full of activities, on this side, I had to resume the routine a few weeks ago, and the truth is that among so many things, I had not stopped to write you here, Mathias has had a pretty cool start of the year, he has started double bass lessons, he continues with his solfeggio, recorder and cuatro lessons, adding to this last one, classes on Saturdays, to be honest, now I think about it, I remember when my mother sent me to homework, I do not want to think how I would have done if I had taken homework on Saturdays, I don't want to think how I would have done if I had a schedule as tight as Mathias's, luckily, he enjoys it, he is super excited with the new things that are happening in his life, and that is more than enough to motivate me.
This weekend, began the activities on the occasion of the pilgrimages to the Virgin of Lourdes, which are held in my town for more than a century, and this is the second year in which Mathias attends with his flute, in the conglomerate of musicians who accompany each of the processions to the grotto of Lourdes, which is attached to the main church of the town; so, today we had to get up early to be at his school at 7: 30 am, and from there leave an hour later to the grotto, today I was definitely paparazzi mom, the bad ones by the way, because the pictures were not the best, the truth is that the sun did not allow me to see the phone well and thus focus well.
Today I just wanted to share with you some pictures of what was the first musical participation of Mathias this year, his teachers have already told me that they are preparing material at the music school for what will be the recital on Mother's Day, I think they are going very fast, but, this year, although my health has not been the best, the mood and positive attitude have been much better than last year, although Mathias has been quite rebellious at school, the last few weeks, we are already making progress on that issue. Being a single mother is not an easy task, however, I think that the satisfaction, when our children are achieving goals and overcoming obstacles, is much greater, although the worries are also greater, but they are worth everything, without a doubt.

¡Feliz fin de semana mamis y papis! Espero estén disfrutando de un merecido descanso, luego de una semana llena de actividades, por este lado, ha tocado retomar la rutina hace unas semanas, y la verdad es que entre tantas cosas, no me había detenido a escribirles por aquí, Mathias ha tenido un inicio de año bastante copado, ha comenzado clases de contrabajo, continua con sus clases de solfeo, flauta dulce y cuatro, agregando a esta última cátedra, clases los días sábado, la verdad, ahora que lo pienso, recuerdo que me quejaba cuando mi madre me enviaba a las tareas dirigidas, no quiero pensar como me habría ido si fuera tenido una agenda tan apretada como la de Mathias, por suerte, él lo disfruta, está superemocionado con las cosas nuevas que están sucediendo en su vida, y eso es, más que suficiente para motivarme a mí.
Este fin de semana, comenzaron las actividades con motivo de las peregrinaciones a la Virgen de Lourdes, que se llevan a cabo en mi pueblito desde hace más de un siglo, ya este es el segundo año en el que Mathias asiste con su flauta, en el conglomerado de músicos que acompañan cada una de las procesiones hacia la gruta de Lourdes, que está adjunta a la iglesia principal del pueblo; así que, hoy nos tocó madrugar para estar en su escuela a las 7:30 am, y de allí partir una hora más tarde a la gruta, hoy definitivamente fui mama paparazzi, de las malas por cierto, porque las fotografías no fueron las mejores, la verdad es que el sol no me permitía ver bien el teléfono y de esta manera enfocar bien.
Hoy solo quise compartirles algunas fotografías de lo que fue, la primera participación musical de Mathias en este año, ya me comentaron sus profesores que están preparando material en la escuela de música para lo que será el recital del día de las madres, creo que van muy rápido, pero, ciertamente el tiempo va como que acelerado, o será que yo voy muy lenta jajaja, este año, aunque mi salud no ha sido la mejor, los ánimos y la actitud positiva han sido mucho mejores que los del año pasado, aunque Mathias ha estado bastante rebelde en el colegio, las últimas semanas, ya estamos avanzando en ese tema. Ser madre soltera no es tarea fácil, sin embargo, pienso que la satisfacción, cuando nuestros hijos van logrando cumplir metas y superando obstáculos, es muchísimo mayor, aunque también son mayores las preocupaciones, pero ellos lo valen todo, sin duda alguna.
