Hive Power Up Day
Let's start with the small power up I have done this month. A couple of weeks ago I have configured my post payouts to 100% Hive payout which resulted in a much smaller amount of liquid Hive.
I also used some Hive to buy a @holozing vial, so I didn't have a lot to power up this month.
But I saved just over 10 Hive to be able to earn my badge 🐝
My HP growth
A couple of weeks ago I set myself a goal to become a Hive Orca (see blog). This goal made me focus more on growing my Hive stake. With this stake I have more influence on Hive and can I help smaller accounts with nice upvotes. So, let's check how have I done in November.
Well, on the 31st of October my Hive Power was 30145 and on the 30th of November it was 32750.
This means my Hive power increased with 2605 Hive over the past month. I'm pretty happy with that number.
When I check my Hivebuz ranking I see that I have gone up 7 spots since 12 days ago from 518 --> 511. I think it might be possible to reach the top 500 before the end of the year! That's would be a nice goal!
My way to become an Orca
I've also checked the smallest orca which has 59084 Hive Power at the moment. Two weeks ago the lowest orca had 58932, so that increased with 152 Hive.
My 2605 extra Hive power this month made my total Hive power 32750 which is is 55,41% of my goal.
When I keep collecting 2605 HP each month I will 'already' reach the necessary 59084 HP to become an orca on 5 October 2025 (but the threshold will probably be a little higher then). But it’s a nice prospect.
Rewards
I checked my Hivestats (https://hivestats.io/@friendlymoose) to see in what ways I gathered my Hive in the past month.
In the past 30 days I have received 183 Hive and 7.31 HBD from Author Rewards. That makes a total of 208 Hive when I convert the HBD with the current Hive price of $0.295.
Apart from that I also received 90 Hive Power from curating. Funny to see that my curation rewards are slightly under 1/3 of my total earnings in November.
More
I hope I can keep my activities up in the coming months so I can reach the orca level on Hive next year. It would be nice to have even more influence on the Hive blockchain.
I've been quite a bit more active on Hive recently. My enthusiasm for photography has been reignited which results in more photography related posts and I've also joined more photography contests myself.
Apart from that I'm also quite active on Snaps nowadays. I'm sharing my photo's and other interesting stuff on there too. The rewards are a bit smaller than you get for a blog, but all small bits help and the engagement and interaction on Snaps is really nice.
The next update on my stats will be in 2025!
