I don't want to look back at 1998

Hello everyone
When I saw today's topic published by @kronias, of course I read some of the points in today's challenge, to be honest I was in 1998 one of the dark years in my area, covered in blood, torture everywhere, missing people almost everywhere, on today's occasion I want to remind myself of my past which is classified as very gripping, In 1998 my area of Aceh was actually experiencing one of the big conflicts, Aceh Merdeka (AM) demanded to the central government to ask for a referendum so that according to them, if the official referendum is approved by the central government, Aceh will become one of the countries that is intact and not dependent under the orders of the Republic of Indonesia.

However, the central government did not approve it to separate from the Republic of Indonesia, finally the independent Aceh side began to gather troops and lure the people to want to mingle with them to participate in training so that they could carry out wars, maybe you know if you start looking in magazines or news how the actual events in my country at that time, clashes between the two sides are inevitable. Almost every day there is the sound of gunfire in the suburbs, at that time I was only about a dozen years old, I didn't really understand what was happening in my area.

The central government began to implement the DOM (military operation area)wow... The people who became victims after the government imposed the dom in my area, can you imagine how we should not go far from home, the curfew began to be enforced, what happened? The community has become all wrong, it is difficult to find necessities for life or work how we can eat to survive, we are resigned to the situation and always pray that our area will soon turn into a safe area, the central government decided to implement a military operation area, of course there is a purpose and purpose, where the central government wants the siparatist forces to disappear or surrender to the central government.

Not only in 1998, in the following years the same incident still occurred, the people in my area at that time were increasingly threatened by the circumstances and situations that we had to face every day, the burning of houses by unknown people was increasingly rampant, hundreds of houses in the suburbs were burned in the red jago, because to avoid clashes between the two parties, In 1998 there was also one of the identical buildings known as RUMOH GUDOENG was burned by unknown people, this GUDOENG rumoh also has a very gripping history, where in one of the houses of GUDOENG is occupied by soldiers from the government, In this house there are many strange incidents that are unknown to anyone, whether from the government or the independent Aceh side.

After the burning of the geudong house, some news appeared in the print media that there were several incidents of torture carried out in the geudong house by the central government, because when the TNI/POLRI troops carried out a sweep in the field, if there were suspicious residents who crossed over, they would be arrested and taken to the geudong house, It is quite a very gripping event that occurred in my area at that time, I cannot write any longer than the events that occurred in my area, because I am straight to the point.

In 2004 there was a disaster that shook the world in my area Aceh Sunami first occurred which was centered west of the city of Banda Aceh, one of the largest in Aceh, which took hundreds of thousands of lives away, at the moment after a few days of Sunami finally a miracle happened between the two parties PEACE Alhamdulillah, our area after that incident until now is getting safer and remains united with the Republic of Indonesia, I don't want to repeat the events that happened a few decades ago, which I feel now that I am comfortable with the current situation.

Thank you very much to all of you who have taken a little time to read this post of mine, hopefully it can be useful for all of us.
Greetings from me @furkanmamplam

Thank you very much my brother @pandex for his curation and support, I am happy to appreciate it very much 🙏😊

For wars, I didn't get to experience them but I heard stories and how unsettled the people living in those days were. Imagine sleeping with sounds of gunshot everywhere.

Yes, it really looks like you are still very young, I had never been able to sleep due to the sound of gunshots almost every night, the days we went through in those days were really very complicated, thank you many friends for stopping by, I hope you have a nice day 🙏😊

Haaa!
I'm glad I haven't witnessed any way apart from the "low budget and noisy" ones we get to hear about once in a while
