Just One Moment...

"Isn't that the venue for the interview? Why are there so many people carrying my pictures and placards?" Sabrina asked immediately Alex pulled over a few blocks before the radio station.

"Would you believe me if I said I am confused right now? This wasn't the agreement I had with the manager," Alex replied, unplugging his tablet from the vehicle charging spot.

He logged into his Gmail to check the invitation sent by the radio station some weeks ago.

"Check this out! That was the email they sent to me the other day, and beneath it is my response. I even made it clear that you don't want crowds swarming around the venue," Alex said as he stretched the tablet to Sabrina.

She carefully took it from him and read through the invitation again.

"Honestly, I appreciate my fans, but it would be exhausting if I had to interact with them before the interview," Sabrina muttered.

"We can just postpone it to some other day, they can't blame you after they breached our agreement. I will put a call across to the radio station manager right away if that's okay with you," Alex replied.

"No, don't do that. These people remind me of so many things," Sabrina replied.

While she was pondering what to do next, a young girl approached the vehicle with a placard, and a big smile appeared on Sabrinah's face immediately she read what was written on the placard.

"Alex, did you see that? Sabrina! Sabrina!! You are my idol." Sabrina read as she grinned from ear to ear.

The girl got to the vehicle, placed her placard on the Jeep bonnet, and came to stand by the side mirror. Sabrina quickly hid her face, which made Alex burst into silent laughter.

"Have you forgotten the Jeep glasses are all tinted?" Alex asked, still laughing.

"Oh, that's true. I feared our eyes would meet," Sabrina replied, readjusting on the leather seat.

"Alex, look at her. Isn't she adorable? She reminds me of myself," Sabrina added while still staring at the young girl.

The young girl removed her hair bond and tried wearing it back.

"That's true, the charm and everything look similar. It's amazing how you still got everything intact after all you went through," Alex replied.

"It's not just me, your vibe is still very tight as well. I probably wouldn't have been here if you hadn't supported me since we were kids," Sabrina replied.

The two went silent as they watched the young girl struggle with the hairbond.

"I think she needs help with the hair, I should probably alight now. Just wait in the car," Alex said, breaking the silence.

"Let me do it, you can't fix a lady's stuff. You never seem to understand that one thing," Sabrina teased.

"Aren't you worried about the crowd anymore?" Alex asked, and Sabrina just smiled.

She unlocked the door, and the girl immediately moved away from the mirror.

"I am sorry," She stuttered and wanted to reach for her placard.

***"It's fine, let me fix it for you, or wouldn't you help me if I needed your help?" Sabrina replied, and the young girl turned back to see who had alighted from the car.

"Sabrina! Is it really my idol, or am I dreaming?" She stuttered and rushed to hug Sabrina immediately.

"My name is Adriana, and I am a big fan. I love all your songs," she stuttered with her hands wrapped around Sabrina.

"I knew that even before you said it. You will be my guest at the interview, but let's fix the hairbond first," Sabrina replied as she patted Adriana on the back.

Adriana finally gave Sabrina the hairbond, and her eyes were filled with tears already.

"Don't cry, okay?" Sabrina said it in a shaky voice.

"Control your emotions," Alex whispered, winking at her.

Sabrina soon fixed the hairbond, and she held Adriana's hand as they walked towards the radio station.

Immediately the crowd saw her, they started cheering, and Sabrina felt really happy.

"I have never felt this happy since I became famous," Sabrina said to Alex as they approached the growth.

"Really? This is just a small crowd compared to your last concert," Alex replied.

"I know, but this reminds me of my roots and humble beginning," she replied.

"You have a point," Alex replied.

Sabrina had to take pictures and sign autographs for over 15 minutes before getting through the crowd with Alex and Adriana after seeking her guardian consent.

They settled in the studio and were given some refreshments before the interview started.

Adriana was enjoying every bit of the conversation and was shocked when Sabrina put her on air to introduce herself to the listeners.

She was excited, and finally, it was time for people to call in and ask questions.

"Can I ask a question?" Adriana asked towards the end of the interview.

"Go on," Alex replied.

"What's your biggest moment as an artist?" Adriana cleared her throat and asked.

"There are a lot of awesome moments in my career, but the biggest was the particular moment that changed everything for me. I was invited to perform for free at a Christmas fiesta about 3 years ago. I wasn't happy because that was the time I expected people to pay for my service since it's the season of celebration."

Sabrina paused and sighed heavily as she reflected on her journey to stardom.

She continued...

"I really didn't want to attend the fiesta because I felt like I was taken for granted, but Alex here encouraged me to go."

"Although I was reluctant, but couldn't say no to him. We went to that event, and while performing, one of the vip guests gave me his card. Upon checking, it turned out to be Mr Nelson, the biggest music producer in the city."

"I called him the next morning, and here I am today," Sabrina replied.

Wow! Adriana exclaimed, and everyone in the studio burst into laughter.

"Our listener, this would be the end of the show. Please keep streaming and supporting Sabrina music," The show anchor rounded up and Sabrina promised to be back again on the show.
