These photos are my entry for the #monomad contest by @brumest and @monochromes.

Photography has been a profound avenue for self-reflection during my last three years of work. A significant portion of my photographs, particularly those in black and white, are driven by a desire for focused observation.

The absence of color allows a deeper engagement with the subject matter, eliminating distractions and allowing the viewer to connect more intimately with the essence of the object or space.

My work often centers on cemeteries, environments steeped in tranquility and mystery. While life may seem to recede in these spaces, I find a compelling beauty, a quiet flourishing that these places uniquely possess. Perhaps I'm drawn to a certain nostalgia, but it's a fundamental part of my artistic vision.
