Another silver post by me today! Usually, I like to write about general life topics, but I also want to record my silver (and maybe gold in the near future) collection. Hive is a nice way to record a bit what do I have. I have never recorded anywhere about it when I was in Brazil so mostly I don't have any proof of what I had there and it is still missing. Well I also installed a cool promising app, which unfortunately is paid (30$ a year). It is called Coinsnap. It is fun because you scan it and it gives you some info about the coin and also gives you the option to save it in your collection. In addition, there are pre-established sets in the app so you can follow how many coins you need to complete a coin set, like the .25$ sets in the US. But at least for Canadian Coins I couldn't find specific sets like the .25$ millennium sets. But the app gives you the option to create your own sets.
The interesting part that it looks like to work with Silver rounds except to a few of them. The database can only recognize Maple leaves up to 2023 for example. They need to improve a bit the Silver database. I didn't try but they have a Facebook group to talk about it. At least I could scan my new 2015 1 Oz Panda. And created my Panda set in the app. The 2015 remarks an interesting threshold in this Panda series. It is the last 1 oz Silver, since in 2016 they started to mint as 30g round, so it is losing 1g in this change.
Even changing the weight to grams, this round still gets my willing to buy it, I know that other hiveian like a lot these series, I want to check all his collection one day. Pandas as I said in my last post are very important animals in China and I can't question why they are the main character of a national round from that country. Different from the 2013 silver, the 2015 has only one Panda in a very humanized position similar to sitting with a bamboo branch in his paws. This panda looks like relaxed while eating the bamboo.
I bought this panda through eBay with shipping it costed 59 CAD. I t never saw this silver close to the silver spot, I think this price + shipping isn't very bad. As usual and as learned with my SGS community I tested with the magnet after it arrived. Pandas have high probabilities of being counterfeited like silver eagles, britannias and Maple Leaves. Also I take a lot of extra careful to see from whom I am buying it. My first one I bought from @bulliontools, which like many other SGS members I trust a lot as a good source. This one was a high reputation seller within Canada. Usually most of the problems with this bullions comes from Chinese sellers, specially with the silver rounds that I cited before.
Like the 2013 round, it has the same important tempe and the writing of "People's Republic of China" on the top. The condition of the bullion was very nice. I fear one day dealing with milk spots.
I still have some new silver waiting in the mail. And new posts coming to record about my collection which I am anxious to get more on that. I am anxious also to participate in the community raffle, hopefully I can buy more tickets to be able to win this time.

Outro post sobre prata meu hoje! Normalmente gosto de escrever sobre tópicos gerais da vida, mas também quero registrar minha coleção de prata (e talvez ouro no futuro próximo). O Hive é uma maneira legal de registrar um pouco do que eu tenho. Nunca registrei em nenhum lugar quando estava no Brasil, então, na maioria das vezes, não tenho nenhuma prova do que tinha lá e ainda está faltando. Bem, também instalei um aplicativo promissor e legal, que infelizmente é pago (30$ por ano). Chama-se Coinsnap. É divertido porque você escaneia e ele te dá algumas informações sobre a moeda e também te dá a opção de salvá-la na sua coleção. Além disso, há conjuntos predefinidos no aplicativo para que você possa acompanhar quantas moedas precisa para completar um conjunto, como os conjuntos de 0,25$ nos EUA. Mas pelo menos para as moedas canadenses, não consegui encontrar conjuntos específicos como os conjuntos de 0,25$ do milênio. Mas o aplicativo oferece a opção de criar seus próprios conjuntos.
A parte interessante é que parece funcionar com moedas de prata, exceto algumas. A base de dados só consegue reconhecer Maple Leaves até 2023, por exemplo. Eles precisam melhorar um pouco a base de dados de prata. Não tentei, mas eles têm um grupo no Facebook para falar sobre isso. Pelo menos consegui escanear minha nova Panda 1 Oz 2015. E criei meu conjunto Panda no aplicativo. O ano de 2015 marca um limiar interessante nessa série Panda. É o último 1 oz de prata, já que em 2016 começaram a cunhar como uma rodada de 30g, então está perdendo 1g nessa mudança.
Mesmo mudando o peso para gramas, essa rodada ainda desperta minha vontade de comprá-la, sei que outros hiveianos gostam muito dessa série, quero ver toda a coleção dele um dia. Pandas, como disse no meu último post, são animais muito importantes na China e não posso questionar por que são o personagem principal de uma moeda nacional desse país. Diferente da prata de 2013, a de 2015 tem apenas um Panda em uma posição muito humanizada, semelhante a estar sentado com um galho de bambu nas patas. Esse panda parece relaxado enquanto come o bambu.
Comprei este panda pelo eBay e com o frete custou 59 CAD. Nunca vi essa prata perto do preço do spot, acho que esse preço + frete não é muito ruim. Como de costume e aprendido com minha comunidade SGS, testei com o ímã depois que chegou. Pandas têm altas probabilidades de serem falsificados, como os Silver Eagles, Britannias e Maple Leaves. Também tomo muito cuidado para ver de quem estou comprando. O primeiro que comprei foi do @bulliontools, que como muitos outros membros do SGS, confio muito como uma boa fonte. Este era um vendedor de alta reputação dentro do Canadá. Geralmente, a maioria dos problemas com essas pratas vem de vendedores chineses, especialmente com as moedas que citei antes.
Assim como a moeda de 2013, tem o mesmo importante templo e a inscrição "República Popular da China" no topo. A condição da moeda era muito boa. Tenho medo de lidar com manchas de leite um dia.
Ainda tenho algumas novas pratas esperando pelo correio. E novos posts virão para registrar sobre minha coleção, ansioso para adquirir mais. Também estou ansioso para participar do sorteio da comunidade, espero poder comprar mais ingressos para ganhar desta vez.
