One of the GP doctors took his yearly off. It started today. And, Tuesday is the weekly off day of another GP doctor. As a result, I was the single doctor to manage the GP section. And, it was as usual a hectic day!
The morning shift was more hectic. I had 32 patients in my chamber, and more people came for their fitness tests in the visa medical section. Moreover, at around noon, I had to take a break to go to my son's school, pick him up, drop him off at home, and return to the clinic. There was no free time at all.
Between two shifts at home, I had a short afternoon after lunch. Later, I joined the evening shift duty at 4 p.m., which ended at 10 p.m. I had another 40 patients during that shift. So, on Tuesday, I consulted a total of 72 patients in my chamber. A total of 38 people came to the visa medical section.
It was a pretty hectic day for me. Looks like, every Tuesday, is going to be a similar hectic day. Nothing to do about it! It's the job!
