TEACHER'S HARD WORK....

A student asked his teacher:

Dear teacher, during your period we understand the matter well, we also enjoy your words and that is why we wait for your period.

But

When we read a book, we do not get the pleasure that we get during your period.

The teacher said: How does a bee make honey?

A student replied: From the juice of flowers...

The teacher asked: If you eat flowers as they are, how will they taste?

The student replied: It will be bitter...

The teacher said: O my son... The field of teaching and learning is also like the work of a bee. Like a bee, a teacher visits millions of flowers (books, experiments, observations) and then brings the essence of the juice of these flowers in the form of sweet honey (summary) in front of his students.

May Allah Almighty protect everyone who is related to this work of the prophets.

May peace be upon every one of our teachers and students.

An aspect of this story is that if a teacher feels that his lesson does not have the sweetness of honey, that is, the students are not interested, then there may be two reasons:

The first reason is that this teacher did not visit the flowers like a bee. That is, he relied only on a book for preparation.

The second is that like a bee, this teacher, instead of extracting the juice of flowers and making honey, brought bitter flowers in front of the students. That is, he told the students what he had read in the book.

If examples were included according to the minds of the students, if help was taken from the blackboard or other educational tools, and if appropriate activities were selected, the result of this hard work would have been sweet honey.

The teacher's work is hard and tiring like the work of a bee. But its result is also delicious and sweet like honey.
