Palermo is not a place reknown for it's beauty. It's more described as dirty, messy, rundown and maybe a little chaotic but this is unfair there are actually some very pretty places, this being one of them, and in fact there is some beauty in the messiness, the chaos and the dirt, but that's another post.
This post is just two shots of Palermo Cathedral built progressively over about 700 years, it is a imposing building, stunning in it detail and well worth a look if you happen to be in Palermo at any point. It if also about the only place in the city you will be overrun by tourists.
