We're already halfway through the Splinterlands season, which means I only have 7 days left to reach my goal of opening 300 Minor Chests, 150 Major Chests, and 30 Ultimate Chests. So far, I've managed to open 30 Ultimate Chests and 50 Major Chests, so I only have 300 Minor Chests and 100 Major Chests left to reach my goal, and I hope to get enough Glint to open them all before the season ends.
The last few times I opened the Loot Chests, unfortunately, I was very unlucky because, in addition to not getting any jackpots, I also got a very small amount of energy, which will affect my results this season, since I'll earn less SPS and Glint.
Even though my results haven't been what I wanted this season, Hive has been increasing in price a lot in the last few days and this means that SPS has appreciated, so this is great news for Splinterlands players like me, but I have to be careful with the price of DEC and buy it when it's close to $0.0008, otherwise I'll end up paying a higher price for card rentals and SPS, so the appreciation of SPS isn't really worth it since it wasn't high.
With the Glints I've accumulated recently, I can open 31 more Major Chests and get one step closer to my goal.
Since I still need to open 300 Minor Chests and 69 Major Chests, this means that I need to accumulate another 130,000 Glint in the next 7 days to reach my goal and considering my current Glint gain, I believe it will be possible.
My main goal is to max out my Soulbounds cards, but I prefer opening Loot Chests over Rarity Draws because Loot Chests increase my SPS and Glint gains during the season since you can earn energy from them and because I also have a chance to win jackpots, so in my opinion Loot Chests are the best option even if it means receiving fewer cards and they are of random rarities.
My luck in gaining energy is as bad as in winning jackpots because in these 31 Major Chests I didn't get any energy and that means my gains in these seasons will be terrible.
Luckily I still have 300 Minor Chests and 69 Major Chests to open this season so maybe I'll get lucky when I open them and get a lot of energy, but I believe that only 1 jackpot can save me this season because my SPS and Glint gains are already very low.
The only good thing about these 31 Major Chests is that I got 1 Gold Foil card from the Halfling Refugee and although it is not useful in my collection because it is easier to evolve regular cards, this Gold Foil card can be very useful to be burned and give me a good amount of extra Glint so that I can reach my goal with the Loot Chests this season in Splinterlands.
