Surprises in the mail are always nice 😁 and I was most surprised recently when a certain greeting card arrived in my mail box. The 'return address' spot on the envelope sported "Merry Christmas" and nothing else, leaving a big mystery until I walked into the house to open it. What a fun card it was, too — I have enjoyed seeing the delightful Peanuts™ comic strip characters since my childhood! Inside was a wonderful message of holiday cheer, and it was signed by @silverd510, a stalwart member of the SilverGoldStackers (SGS) community!

I don't like being the one in charge of picking places. Don't like the way it hints at the life I should perhaps be leading, the knowing of places where you can hang out. Hello photography lovers. As you may have gathered from one or two of my previous posts, I have long since had a fascination with windows and doors. An attraction may be a better way to describe it. I find that both can have a lot of character and charm, which makes them a really good subject to photograph

We drove to the other town Sunday morning to bring the cousins to their homes. They came with the husband here in DD on Saturday for a quick visit and needed to return early to attend the mass. This shell is of Britannia Works Mill, commonly called the Hat Factory, which was once a . Many refer to it's remains as an eyesore, and this view from my boat is a stark contrast from some of the picturesque views that I've grown accustomed to. However, I embraced the change because I find decrepit buildings intriguing. Its rotting skeleton stands a few meters from Atherstone Top Lock on the Coventry Canals, along a high traffic canal route

I had an altercation with a friend days back. We both had people who we felt caused us a lot of pain in the past, and this is true. But I had decided not to end my year with anger, or pain, or spite and resentment against anyone. Sometimes when I find myself making real progress in life, I find that I was not actually mentally prepared for the success. New success can lead to new problems that you hardly realize when you are struggling with your current problems and dreaming only of the success. “Mo money, mo problems”…. Too soon?
