Once this deadline has passed, LaLiga has made its move, as it said last night in a statement: "FC Barcelona has not presented any alternative that, in compliance with LaLiga's economic control regulations, would allow it to register any player from now on".
Throughout the day yesterday, the Blaugrana club was gathering additional information that LaLiga had requested about the contracts and the guarantees of payment from the sale of VIP seats at the Spotify Camp Nou. However, as MD has been able to find out, the employers' association was unable to certify that all the income had arrived. That is why FC Barcelona, at 8:17 p.m. on December 31, announced that it had asked the RFEF for a new license for Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor.

However, sources from Barça have given the 3rd of January for all the information to be explained, giving rise to some hope that Olmo and Pau Víctor can continue playing this season with Barcelona.
