In order for their staff to actively engage in corporate social responsibility initiatives by the company, it has been decided after alignment across multiple stakeholders that the company will be incorporating 2 days of volunteer leave for all employees. This is to show the support and stance the company is adopting to ensure all employees will participate in volunteering activities officially.
This is well received by the employees as they took part collectively, as various functional groups in the company, in the numerous volunteering opportunities identified by the company's corporate social responsibility team. Through this initiative, not only do the employees get to do something meaningful for the society, they also had loads of opportunities to improve team work when they work together to get the various task done for the beneficiaries.
