Hello everyone, how have you been ?😁 I hope all of you are doing great and enjoying the day! Your holo-buddy @iamscinttwister is back again to present his new hoolozing fanart!❤️ For this fanart, I'm doing a digital portrait of water healer. Recently I have been doing an art study to improve my art and I have been practicing samdoesart's art style and how he do his digital artwork. The month of june has now ending and my time for this art study is running thin but atleast I have learned a lot in this art study.

THE MATERIALS USED AND THE PROCESS
Materials used:
- iPad
- apple pencil (Model: A1603)
- Procreate
Process:
In the process of making this fanart, it took me around 6 hrs to finally finish the peice. This includes the sketching of the template as well as the coloring and rendering of the final piece. So hear is a step by step on how I did my fanart entry for this week.
In this art entry I tried utilizing a reference for the pose and the facial expressions. I found this very helpful, as a beginner artis I do not have the mental capacity to imagine everything for my artwork so having a reference was a good move.
After finalizing the facial expression and the pose of our character I proceeded with applying the first layer of color as a cliping layer for the entire character.
Here I added the basic I colors for ocean healer such as her hair, skin tone and her cloths. This way I can picture-out the final outcome. Then step is shading the face of ocean healer.
I focus first on rendering the entire face before proceeding to render other part of the drawing. I do this because the face is the center of the drawing I have to put all efforts in rendering it so it wont look weird.
After I finished with rendering the face of ocean healer, I proceeded with rendeing the fur on her jacket. This was a real challenge for me, I have never tried rendering stylized fur before or even realitic one so this was the most challenging part in making this fanart. Getting a bit of satisfaction in rendering the fur I moved on to the hair.
Here I added the rendering in the hair, this took me a lot of layer as well as time because this drawing was so overdue that I was having trouble with the rendering.
Here I turned the background into black so I can really see the behavior of the colors I put in the drawing. This time I added rendering to the crown and started to add rendering to the jacket. The next thing I do is add the background.
Here I added the background as well as more detail in the hair of ocean healer. I added gaussian blurr on the bacground so that the focus will still be on the face.
This is the final part of making my fanart entry, here I added so shadows and forgrounds effects. I used the texture brush in procreate to add the bubble effects in the forgeound. And with that my holozing entry for this week is finished!😁💖
