Those are Tagetes family, aka Marigolds. So common and easy to grow that I thought they were found worldwide but perhaps the years of Cuban isolation meant that they didn't reach you

Suffering from the extreme heat, we had a heat wave and I had to put shade cloth over the vegetable garden before all the plants burned to death. Other than that, I germinated lithops seedlings and the cacti are flowering... What about you?

Ohhh !!! 😮😥 serious @nikv, but it affected you plants a lot 🪴 mother of mine my friend.

No here in cuba is cold ❄️ but I have not had affectation of anything, a cyclone happened in my country 🇨🇺, but in my city there was no affectation luckily 🍀🙏🏻. But this season the cactus in the garden don't bloom mostly until March. Let me know about your plants, best regards 🫂.
