Once upon an early morning in Bambang, we headed out for a little escapade in the hills of SA. Leaving the main street, we entered a narrow private road that showed the aftermath of the previous year's typhoon - toppled trees and broken branches among them.
And finally, after the short drive, the lovely terrains and a warm breeze welcomed us. It was just before 7 in the morning and Mr. Sun was nowhere to be seen.
While my two siblings had been there before, it was the hubby and I's first time and we liked it already. The place is being developed for a residential subdivision and we have been allotted a few units, hence, we went there to confirm our spot or change blocks. We preferred the uphill so we were given choices. We took one in the corner block after verifying our would-be neighbors. That factor is important (at least to us) because we don't want nosy ones, lol!
Meanwhile, the Lil Guy couldn't wait. He ran, sniffing here and there, and marking his territories (he peed a couple of times), lol! As far as he knew, he was the first of his kind to do such in that place and he was proud of it🤡
He was exhausted soon after and climbed the sloped spot for a quick rest. Although his eyes were still busy he kept looking around - observing, listening - ever attentive pup.
Then he ran around again, exploring more of the nooks and crannies on the site, jumping at my niece at some point, wanting to lick her hands, lol! We had to put him in the back of the pickup truck so he could pause and breathe a little as he was already panting out of excitement (maybe).
We stayed there for over an hour, taking in as much of the New Year's fresh air and imagining what the place would be like in a year or two.
Then it was time to return to the hotel for breakfast, pool and garden time, and yes, hunting!
Another dream came alive during that visit and we hope to see it through sooner than later. Until then, we continue to have more escapades, enjoy life, and everything in between.
Hurray to the new week!
