Magandang buhay!
The hubby and I had a simple dinner at K, an inn with cozy dining that we never knew existed until my sister mentioned it on Friday. It's in the other town, about an hour's drive from DD. It was already dark when we arrived and raining too. The main parking was full and the tables in the restaurant too. So we parked some 50 meters away and then shared one of the large tables (8 seats) with another couple who didn't mind having company.
Well, they were done with their meals and went to their suite before we were served our dish so technically, we didn't really dine together (it would have been nice if we did).
Anyway, we had hot mushroom soup first then our plates came 10 minutes apart. One of them took some time to prepare, huh? Which would that be?

The first plate was a breaded fried pork with fries, 2 slices of raw carrots, and 2 pieces of blanched beans. The second was beef with mushroom, fries, and a scoop of mashed potato. The combinations were a bit amusing😁
Would you like to guess which was mine?
We ate quietly while overhearing the loud conversations of a group of politicians at the next table. They were having some beer while discussing the incoming election and scheming plans for their team to win. They didn't seem to mind letting us hear about their strategies. Crazy folks, I say. They aren't getting any of our votes for sure!
We were served our coffee afterward. It was quite strong we had to add more sugar😅

Well, the food and service were okay. The resto was nice too. It was supposed to be quiet but became noisy for us because of the crocs next to our table so we left sooner for we didn't want to feed our ears with their nonsense, lol!
Meanwhile, it's Monday evening already. The hours seem to have grown wings, lol! Thankfully, the weather improved this morning so we took advantage of it and got some things done. The laundry basket had been emptied, the grape branch we took from the other house had been potted, and we did some preparations for our DIY (woodwork) project too. A good start for the new week, I say.
Until tomorrow :)
