If you play Splinterlands, you know well that the thrill of opening reward chests is one of the most anticipated moments, no matter what game we're playing.
This week's engagement challenge brought up an interesting topic: sharing a support article to help or give tips on how to spend your Glints in the rewards shop.

Of course, I couldn’t share such advanced information since I’m still an intermediate player myself. But I could point you in a direction that makes sense to me what I am using at the moment.
Get Loot Chests, instead of trying your luck with DRAWS
Since the last update I remember regarding the "token" Glint (it is not tradable), we can choose between three different types of loot chests: Minor, Major, and Ultimate. Each offers different chances and rewards, and of course, different Glint costs. Let’s get straight to the point about how each of these chests works so that you know what to expect and where to invest your precious Glint.
🔸 Minor Chest: costs 200 Glint, and you can acquire up to 300 per season before they reset along with the season. It has a decent chance of giving you potions, merits, and cards, but the jackpot chance might be its unique selling point.
🔸 Major Chest: costing 1,000 Glint, you can buy up to 150 per season. Here, the rewards are more balanced, with a better chance of winning energy or even a rarer card. The jackpot chance is slightly higher than the previous one.
🔸 Ultimate Chest: finally, the most expensive chest costs 4,500 Glint, and you can only get 30 per season. However, it offers the best probabilities of high-rarity rewards and the highest jackpot chance.
The last time I spent my Glint in Splinterlands, I ended up acquiring 34 Minor Chests just to get some copies of the new Rebellion reward cards.
But why don’t I prefer testing my luck in Draw cards?
I believe that the randomness of the chest gives better odds than trying a single card. Of course, I’m talking about more straightforward ones like Common Draw or Rare Draw. It might be more rewarding to try others later on. But chests can also reward us with Merits.
I usually prefer Guild Brawls for the rewards you can get.
When it comes to cards, chests can give you anything from common to legendary cards, with a small chance of being a Gold Foil version, which can be increased using Potions. They double your chances of pulling Epic, Legendary, and even Gold Foil cards.
And, of course, we can’t forget about the jackpot.
But what is it, really?
If you’re lucky enough to hit a jackpot prize, there are some exciting items available. Titles like The Proven or The Veteran are among the most coveted prizes, along with PLOT tokens for those familiar with Lands in Splinterlands. Finally, you also have a chance to snag a card pack from the BETA collection. Even if you don’t plan on using some rewards, there’s always a market for them.
Either way, the new update has brought a fresh feel to Splinterlands, and each chest you open is a chance to improve your deck and progress in the game. Good luck with your chest openings, and may the rewards be in your favor!

Adquira Loot Chests, em vez de tentar a sorte em DRAWS
Desde a última atualização que eu me lembre referente ao "token" Glint (Ele não é negociável), podemos escolher entre três tipos diferentes de baús de loot: o Minor, o Major e o Ultimate. Cada um oferece diferentes chances e recompensas, além de, claro, custos variados em Glint. Vamos direto ao ponto sobre como cada um desses baús funciona, para que você saiba o que esperar e onde investir seu precioso Glint.
