Preparing rabbit meat 🐇

in #hive-1538504 months ago

Hello mates.
Hope you all are doing great in this summer with a healthy heart.

A few days ago, my uncle came to Pakistan from Italy for a vacation. He is a heart patient and, as a result, he does not eat oily foods. His meals are oil-free. His doctor recommended him to eat rabbit meat because that is very healthy. Today, he brought me some rabbit meat and asked me to cook it with boiled vegetables because he only eats boiled vegetables.

It’s my first time dealing with rabbit meat with my own recipe. Lets delve into ingredients i used to cook the rabbit.

INGREDIENTS

• Rabbit meat🥩

• Capsicum🫑

• Tomato🍅

• Onion🧅

• Cabbage🥬

• Potato🥔

• Carrot🥕

Maggie Meat Masala

PROCEDURE

Preparing meat

At first, I had no idea how to prepare this meat or what to do with it. After thinking for a while, I decided to grill it in a pot without oil because this meat releases its own juices. So, I placed it in a non-stick pot and covered it from the top.

After sometime i removed the lid and checked on it .

Then i sprinkle some Maggie Masala on it for taste purposes.

It looked super dry so i added some water and again covered it .

Here is the semi-final look of meat

Preparing veggies

At first i picked healthy carrots from referigerator and cut them straight.

Then i picked the lush green capsicums and cut them too.

Then next comes the cabbage under the knife.

Then comes red tomatoes on my cutting board.

Lastly comes the potatoes on the ground.

Blending Meat and Veggies

Now i put some onions in the pot which is already having some released juice of meat.

I cooked it properly until its colour changes into light brown.

Then i added the carrots into pot.

Carrots need to boil properly so i added little amount of water into it.

Then i added potatoes into the pot.

After potatoes there is an addition of cabbage.

Cabbage is followed by capsicum.

And lastly comes the tomatoes.

Then i mix the vegetables properly.

Now comes the spices . At first i added Maggie Masala into the veggies.

Then i added Red chilli powder into mixture.

Then i added some salt and mix it properly.

Then i added some more water as it is required .

Then i added meat into veggies.

I covered the pot wth its lid.

After about 10 minutes i removed the lid and checked on the mixture.

I cooked it some more until its water gets little more absorbed and it gives saucy look. And here is the final look of my creation.

I took some amount out in the plate and serve it to uncle and he compliments me a lot.The meat was amazingly cook and has such a good texture.

So here ends my blog.
Keep visiting my little corner.
See you soon.
Take care.

The food looks so yummy. The recipe is easy to follow.
I hope your Uncle's health improves soon.

I don't think I could get myself to eat rabbit meat any time soon. From where I am, we keep them as pets than livestock. However, I love the sustainability of this protein source and I'd like to explore the possibilities of me being able to see it as a viable food source.

Your post opens the eyes of us who haven't yet tried it yet. Thanks for sharing!

I never ever thought of slaughter such a cute animal. I can't imagine how tasty this meat should be. You should invite your friend @ahmedhayat over to your place for this dish so he can tell me how it actually tastes. @tipu curate 8

It tastes damn good. I will think about it(inviting aHmed)..!!hehe😁 Thanks for stopping by.🍀

You're most welcome. Well, Ahmed thinks you are not okay with sharing your food with anyone. He is indirectly addressing you a foodie, you should fight him about that. lol.

I just checked that and I cannot believe he said like that. @ahmedhayat be ready 😊

😕

I hope @ahmedhayat is alright and didn't have to get admitted in any hospital after that.

Ahmed Hayat, bro I'm reminding her again in case she forgot, lol.

Well, she won't even think of sharing her food with anyone 😂, it is just here she is being so nice and generous 😄

I'm surprised not seeing her defending in your reply, lol.

She didn't get any notification i think but now as you replied to her and mentioned the thing, I am destroyed 😢

Good luck then 😅
