Overcoming sadness to find happiness

Life is the most precious and mysterious thing. Nobody knows what will happen in the next moment, and the uncertainty makes life more thrilling. Because of uncertainty, ups and downs are part of life, and we have no power to avoid them. Sometimes we become happy, and sometimes we become sad. There can be many reasons behind sadness.

Happiness and sadness come one after another, but I believe that everyone wants to be happy in life and try their best for it. Instead of it, sadness comes into our lives and makes our minds unstable. Anxiety and depression sometimes try to take control over us, and staying at such a moment is nearly impossible for a long time. Sometimes behind sadness there can be specific reasons, but again, in some cases, it's hard to figure out the reason for sadness. The situation is critical and not so easy to explain. Some people try to stay lonely because sadness tries to separate us from others. Overcoming the situation and finding happiness are the real struggles in those kinds of moments. I believe that everyone has their own way of doing it.

I belong to that category of people who love to think positively in every kind of situation, and with such a mentality, I remain happy most of the time. Instead of it, sometimes sadness comes, and the reason can be anything. In that situation, I love to isolate myself from everyone, which is quite natural. I feel emptiness, and I ask myself, Why am I in such a situation? Sometimes I find the answer to it, and sometimes I don't. But it is a lot of time, and I feel afraid to talk with anyone in that moment because I am afraid and may say something wrong to them as I become emotional.

To be honest, I am one of them who loves to enjoy the loneliness, but the loneliness in times of sadness is different. Enjoying loneliness means I am choosing it, but loneliness because of being sad means I am forced to be lonely, and the two cases are different.

I read the post by Bruno Kema, and like him, I also used to write about the sad feeling on paper and tear it into many pieces. To be honest, it's a very effective way to reduce the pain or sadness. I know that technique still works for me, but now I don't use that technique to overcome it. I don't know why I don't use the technique now. Still, I have some way to overcome it.

The first thing I try to do is watch anime. I am an anime lover, and watching anime is something I love to do as much as I can. I can remember spending the whole day watching anime. But it has a side effect too, and that's headaches. I think I do it to keep my mind busy, but it doesn't work all the time.

As the second option, I go outside of home. I find a road to walk, which must be peaceful. I start to walk on a road and try to observe the beauty of nature. At the beginning, the sadness may increase a little bit, but as time goes on, I start to lose myself in nature, and I almost forget about my pain. But in hot weather, I would not choose to do it.

The last and best way is with my mind. I try to control my mind. I try to make my mind cool and neutral. I try to give myself all positive messages, and it actually works. But it also takes a good amount of time because it's not an instant way to overcome sadness, although it's the best possible way. I think my robotic kind of mentality helps a lot in this case. Moreover, I can do all my tasks well even if my mood is not good, and after a certain time, my mood becomes good.

I believe patience plays an important role in those moments, and with time, we can heal ourselves and overcome the situation automatically.
