As a person who at one stage in his life thought about studying history as a university career, I love to try to bring to portrait photography a bit of the past, mixed with touches of the present.
Havana lends itself very well to this type of photos, because is a caleidosc of epochs.
For this occasion, we went to a historical monument located in a central avenue of te city. This place, despite the vandalism it has suffered, is still a favorite for the aura of tranquility and its magnificent architecture.
We mixed a bit of creativity when it came to the wardrobe and accessories, to make it feel of a bygone time but also of the present.
In post production, we accentuated this vestige of the old with a black and white analog photo simulation.
Hope you like this work and see you soon!!!
