Trying Alvarigua coffee for the first time.

A loving greeting to all my Hive friends, especially to coffee lovers. Today I want to share with you my incredible experience tasting a new national coffee that left me completely fascinated. The name of this product is: Café Alvarigua and it belongs to a food company with the same name. Its slogan is: Coffee that makes you fall in love. And without a doubt I can certify it.

This delicious coffee was a gift from a co-worker, who knows of my passion for coffee and as this is a relatively new brand, she wanted me to try it to see if I liked it. I usually consume other brands of ground coffee with which I am already more familiar, it is hard for me to risk buying a new brand for fear of being disappointed. But when my co-worker surprised me with this gift, I felt lucky to be able to have this new coffee experience.

I did some research and this coffee is produced in the state of Portuguesa, in the plains region of western Venezuela, specifically in the city of Acarigua. The beans from the llanera region are very delicious, but I still prefer the crops from the Andean region. This does not mean that Alvarigua coffee did not meet my expectations. On the contrary, in comparison to other brands, this one undoubtedly gets my recognition.

Since it was ground coffee, the preparation process was not very long. I just threw it into the coffee pot and sat and waited for it to brew, while the coffee was impregnated with a delicious coffee aroma. I think that this moment in which the water begins to pass through the ground coffee and the magic of the infusion occurs, is truly magical. But one of the most amazing things is always the perfume of the coffee. I think that the moment when the aroma of brewed coffee begins to fill every corner of the house, is when I feel I am participating in a glorious spectacle.

Finally, it was time to try the first sip of my freshly brewed coffee. I really appreciated it, not all ground coffees achieve that miracle of blending in the perfect proportions of mild bitterness with a slight touch of acidity. As for the flavors I was fascinated, the only observation I would make would be that, for my taste, it would be better a little more roasted. But in the last few years several brands of coffee have come out in the country and they are not very good. This one, on the other hand, I think it will be very successful in the market, as it is quite pleasant.

In summary, my experience tasting this new national coffee was simply exceptional. As I said at the beginning, despite the fact that it is difficult for me to take risks with new brands, I am deeply grateful that this type of opportunity presents itself to me. Alvarigua coffee will not be my favorite, but that does not stop me from recommending it, because I know that it can be the best option for many people, since it has enormous potential and for those who prefer it less roasted, it will undoubtedly be wonderful.
