I have decided to start posting a weekly update on my progress toward my 2024 goals here on Hive. It helps me stay on track and I can realize if I am behind on a goal at any point in time. We are nearly at the end of the 8th month so I should be aiming for 67% or higher on all my goals. If I need to towards the end, I'll push whatever is behind when that is needed. However, I am wondering just how much I need to purchase if things continue the way they are now. I am progressing well, and I have plenty of Hive sitting on the side in case I need to push any goals.
Progress
Above are statistics that I have gotten from HiveStats. This week is looking a bit better than last week but I still think that I am doing quite well on my own goals so far. Progress is progress as it all adds up over time.
HP
I earned more than last week, with 159 HP earned throughout the week. I am checking this through the difference between the two endpoints on the graph on Hivestats. It's hard to tell if it's that much higher because a large portion of that was due to the 100 Hive powerup that I did for Hive Power Up Day. I didn't make a separate post for just that though.
HBD
I gained 12 HBD last week and I decided to deposit that HBD into my savings. As I said before, I needed to add more in HBD due to the APR decrease but I think with this addition, I should be close enough. So starting next week, I plan to start putting in orders for Hive and push for the remaining needed at the end of the year if I need to. I added early because the interest can add up over time and hopefully, that I have enough there.
LEO Power
I only earned 26 LEO between last week and today but I am still fine with my goals right now due to the buffer. It's not as much LEO as I would like but I still haven't gone back to threads. I think I'll just stay out of the LBI diesel pool. I kind of prefer to have the LEO liquid.
Conclusion
My progress is looking fine so far. All of my goals are ahead of where I need to be right now. The HBD goal is looking quite good as it has passed the 85% mark and I think that is enough for the interest to get me there. However, I can always add during the last week or two for the small amount remaining if needed. As for HP, it is looking quite good as it has surpassed my LEO percentage. I am almost a month ahead in HP so I might go back to the normal 10 HP Hive Powerup days and add more if needed near the end.
