My Hive Goals for 2024 Week #48

in #hive-16792215 days ago

I have decided to start posting a weekly update on my progress toward my 2024 goals here on Hive. It helps me stay on track and I can realize if I am behind on a goal at any point in time. There is less than a month left in the year so you should be revising your plan if you are behind. My HP goal has already been reached. The rest of my goals are on track as well. They will finish up in December without any issues once my HBD interest and LPUD come around.

Progress

Above are statistics that I have gotten from HiveStats. This week was looking a bit worse than last, but I still think I am doing quite well on my goals. Progress is progress as it all adds up over time.

HP

I earned more than last week, with 89 HP earned throughout the week. I am checking this through the difference between the two endpoints on the graph on Hivestats. My numbers recovered to an extent last week so it doesn't look that bad. Progress is progress. One thing to note is that this increase in HP got me to my yearly goal. I am not sure if HPUD messed up the numbers a bit though but I only powered up 10 Hive.

HBD

I am not sure how much HBD I gained this week. I think one of my old orders did not fill and got canceled. So it got mixed in with the HBD that I earned and I have no idea how much that order was. I'll just throw down a new order, but I am not surprised that my other order did not fill. Hive has had a pretty good run the past few weeks and orders only stay on the book for around a month.

LEO Power

I only earned 27 LEO between last week and today. As I stated last week, my LEO goal is pretty set when the next LPUD comes around. The current LEO that I earn isn't that high though so I am still trying to figure out what I plan for next year. I still want to accumulate more LEO over time as I believe that it is a good community here on Hive and they are developing new things.

Conclusion

My progress is looking fine so far. We still have over a month left and I am above 93% in all of my goals. HBD will be done from the monthly interest next month and LEO power will be done on the next LPUD. I am surpassing my HP goal by quite a bit but I don't feel like extending it as we are already in the last month of the year. So at this point, I will hit all of my yearly goals that I set out this year.

Do you have any goals for 2024? What is the progress towards your own goals?

Feel free to leave a comment if you read my post. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer.

My first own goal is 100HBD for a yearly Premium on Inleo.

After that I just wanna powerup as much Hive and Leo as I can.

That is a nice goal. Good luck on that.

Thanks! 🦁

I will try and reach 40k sps by end of year, at 38k now

Good luck. 2k doesn't seem that hard to reach and I think you can make it.

Do you have any goals for 2024?

Yes. Having at least $500 HBD in savings before the end of this month (and year).

My plan is to build it for long term (for years, for decades).

What is the progress towards your own goals?

Good. Currently I have $388.70 HBD in savings.

As long as I regularly do small jobs, I can regularly invest in Hive Power and in Hive Dollars (HBD).

Posting on Hive is not really worth it neither financially, nor socially.

Mostly I earn cents with my Hive posts.

I earn more with a few hours of work than with an entire month of Hive blogging.

And even the smallest Facebook groups (for example with a few hundred members) have more real interaction than the Hive blockchain.

Most Hive users simply do not care about the content.

I still invest in Hive to build passive income.

I think 500 HBD is a good start for that passive income. It's all about consistency and I agree that real life work will earn you more. I still think that it will add up compared to the other online options. I think there are still quite a few people who care about content but it depends on the community.
