Rising Star Weekly Giveaway #172 and Heartful Cry

in #hive-195370last month

Here is my weekly status and giveaway. I also talk about an OST track that I like. Please make sure to read the rules to qualify for the giveaway. I didn't have time to play Trails into Daybreak this week so I opted to talk about a track from a game that I played in the past.

Heartful Cry

Heartful Cry is an OST that plays in Persona 3: The Answer and it plays when you fight the other member of Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES). It's towards the end as everyone splits up into different teams and you fight each other for your desired outcome. The Answer is an interesting game as it takes place after Persona 3 and it is only available on the FES version of Persona 3. Even when the remakes of Persona 3 Portable or Persona 3 Reload came out, they never released the Answer again. So it's something kind of left to time but I remember the days when I played Persona 3. It was an amazing game and it was one of the games that made me fall in love with RPGs. I do like The Answer because it gives the other members of SEES a conclusion and lets them know what happened towards the end of Persona 3. It's just too bad that it was never released on the new remakes. The very first version of Persona 3 that I played was FES and this track was one of the most memorable ones. There are a few other good tracks but this one stands out. The name of this track fits the scene and I think the music shows how it felt when they had to fight their own teammates.

This track reminds me the most of Aigis and Metis (black outfit). Both of them are machines made to fight shadows and I think it was a great job of Atlus to make Aigis the protagonist in The Answer. This gave Aigis the chance to grow and I feel that she became more human-like through the events of The Answer. Metis is like a sibling to Aigis but she was focused more on The Answer as she doesn't show up otherwise in Persona 3. I do think that Metis is a great character as she tries very hard to protect Aigis when she can. The picture is from the wiki page for Aigis.

In Persona 4 Arena, there is a remix of the song. This song is focused more on Aigis though so I link this remake of it to that. I did play a bit of Persona 4 Arena but I didn't do much outside of Story mode and I didn't go through every single route. I do think that it's a good remix.

Do you like any of these tracks? If so, why?

I gained 133k STARBITS over the past week. It's more than last week so that is great news. I decreased the price on my STARBITS order and it still didn't sell. So I will batch in more starbits from this week. Once that seels, I'll buy some STARPRO with it.

Current Ranking

I played less compared to last week and my rank went down. It's only a little bit less compared to last week on both fronts, but it's hard to balance time.

Tips (source)

I think the tips are something every new player should know about. It will help people progress in the game and it hasn't really been shared since surya1adiga stopped his giveaways.

  1. Take music lessons when possible to raise skill and reduce ego.
  2. Having lesson specific instruments helps in receiving more skill from that lesson.
  3. Have pizza box to store any pizza received during mission to reuse later.
  4. Buy cold pizza slice if possible. This gives 1 refill every 24hours. Comes very handy when you are low on energy.
  5. If you have enough of cold pizza slice and pizza box, you will never run out of energy.
  6. If you have more fans than skill and you won't reduce the ego , you can use a storage trailer to store unnecessary cards. Or you can list the card in market for an unreasonably high price.
  7. Ego received for a particular mission increases every time you play it. The ego is reset to base level the next day. So, try to play different missions to control the ego gained.
  8. Keep track of your achievements to unlock in game rewards
  9. Buy storage trailer (only if necessary) to keep the cards that might have a negative effect. Like a card with high fan count resulting in ego.
  10. When earning skill points through music lessons, you can earn more points per lesson if you hold more of specific instrument cards. There seems to be base skill which is rewarded irrespective of the card count and then the skill increases depending on the number of the lesson specific card one has.
  11. Try taking up many smaller missions to fill up pizza boxes and have extra energy to play more rewarding missions. But you need to have pizza boxes for this to work.
