Here is my weekly status and giveaway. I also talk about an OST track that I like. Please make sure to read the rules to qualify for the giveaway. I chose a track from a game that I played in the past.
Lapis
I chose Illusionary Blue Flowers as my track of the week. This track plays in Trails in the Sky 3rd Chapter. I wanted a more calming track for the week as we are in the holiday season and the new year is coming up. This track is interesting as you would never think that this is an environmental soundtrack that plays in a sewer filled with lava. I was thrown off by this track when I first played the game because I was not expecting the stage to be filled with lava but with this soundtrack. There are two versions of this track, the original and the Evolution version. I prefer the original track more. The Evolution one seems a bit weird to me due to the way they balance the track.
The thing that I think of when I listen to this track is Anelace Elfead. She is the person you unlock after clearing the lava sewer stage. It was a nice thing to use her as a party member because she showed up from time to time in the sky arc. However, you weren't able to really use her in fights at all. Her grandfather is the elusive Yun-Kai-Fai who teaches the Eight Leaves One Blade school of swordmanship. This swordsmanship comes up often in the series so I was always interested in learning more about the creator. Anelace is an interesting character as I think she is more on the fun side as she likes cute things and teases some of the other members of the cast. The image comes from the wiki page for Anelace.

Current Status
I gained 19k STARBITS over the past week. It wasn't the best week as Christmas was this week and then work kept me busy as New Years is coming up soon too. I did do 4 hour missions at night when I could but I couldn't do the millionaire mission every single day. Hopefully, things aren't as busy this week so I can earn more starbits.
Current Ranking
My rank went up by 2 places even though I have less time played. I guess everyone is busy due to the holidays. I hope to play more if time allows for it and to improve my rankings.

Tips (source)
I think the tips are something every new player should know about. It will help people progress in the game and it hasn't really been shared since surya1adiga stopped his giveaways.
- Take music lessons when possible to raise skill and reduce ego.
- Having lesson specific instruments helps in receiving more skill from that lesson.
- Have pizza box to store any pizza received during mission to reuse later.
- Buy cold pizza slice if possible. This gives 1 refill every 24hours. Comes very handy when you are low on energy.
- If you have enough of cold pizza slice and pizza box, you will never run out of energy.
- If you have more fans than skill and you won't reduce the ego , you can use a storage trailer to store unnecessary cards. Or you can list the card in market for an unreasonably high price.
- Ego received for a particular mission increases every time you play it. The ego is reset to base level the next day. So, try to play different missions to control the ego gained.
Keep track of your achievements to unlock in game rewards- Buy storage trailer (only if necessary) to keep the cards that might have a negative effect. Like a card with high fan count resulting in ego.
- When earning skill points through music lessons, you can earn more points per lesson if you hold more of specific instrument cards. There seems to be base skill which is rewarded irrespective of the card count and then the skill increases depending on the number of the lesson specific card one has.
- Try taking up many smaller missions to fill up pizza boxes and have extra energy to play more rewarding missions. But you need to have pizza boxes for this to work.
