Hello monochromatic #Hive friends!... Mine is a small but very changeable town. In fact, sometimes it looks like a different town from one street to another, also the passing of the hours of the day makes the streets look different. Even things as unexpected as changes in the weather can transform a street scene in a very noticeable way... I don't know, sometimes it seems to me that I'm just "imagining all this", but then I look at my photos and realise that some of them simply "couldn't exist" outside of the time and weather in which I took them. So, against all odds, I may be living in a "crazy place for street photography" after all... Come with me and check out the photos I have for you today on #Hive!...

¡Hola amigos monocromáticos de #Hive!... El mío es un pueblo pequeño pero muy cambiante. De hecho, a veces parece un pueblo distinto de una calle a otra, también el paso de las horas del día hace que las calles luzcan distintas. Incluso cosas tan inesperadas como los cambios del clima pueden transformar una escena callejera de manera muy notable... No sé, a veces me parece que simplemente "estoy imaginando todo esto", pero luego miro mis fotos y me percato de que algunas de ellas simplemente "no podría existir" fuera de la hora y el clima en la cual las hice. Así que, contra todo pronostico, puede que yo después de todo esté viviendo en un "lugar muy loco para hacer fotografías callejeras"... ¡Ven conmigo y mira las fotos que traigo para ti hoy en #Hive!...

I started taking photographs as a therapy for my work stress (I'm talking about a couple of decades ago or a bit more) but as time went by my love for photography became my space for meditation and self-knowledge. Some of my friends and even some of my family members would perhaps dare to say that I ended up going completely crazy, as I am in a place where walking around in the street taking pictures and talking to myself out loud is not something that is common... In fact, I'm pretty sure I'm the only guy I see in these streets doing that... There are a couple of other photographers in this town, but they're only seen doing this as a job and they do it at weddings, graduations, sporting events, political activities and things like that... I don't see any of them looking into the eyes of a cat on a foggy street and asking it about its health (I do that a lot, and I could swear that both cats and dogs respond to me in some way)... But well, look at these pictures.... How could I pass up the opportunity to take some of them for anything, eh?... That's why I'm here!...

Comencé a hacer fotografías como una terapia para mi estrés laboral (hablo de hace un par de décadas atrás o un poco más) pero con el paso del tiempo mi afición por la fotografía se convirtió en mi espacio para la meditación y el auto conocimiento. Algunas de mis amistades e incluso algunos de mis familiares quizás se atreverían a asegurar que terminé por enloquecer completamente, pues estoy en un lugar en donde andar por la calle haciendo fotos y hablando solo en voz alta, no es algo que sea común... De hecho, estoy seguro de que soy el único tipo que veo por estas calles haciendo eso... Existen un par de fotógrafos más en este pueblo, pero solo se les ve haciendo esto como trabajo y eso lo hacen en bodas, graduaciones, eventos deportivos, actividades políticas y cosas por el estilo... No veo a ninguno de ellos mirando a los ojos de un gato en una calle con niebla y preguntándole por su salud (hago eso con frecuencia, y podría jurar que tanto los gatos como los perros me responden de alguna manera)... Pero bien, miren estas fotos... ¿Como podría dejar pasar por algo la oportunidad de hacer algunas de ellas, eh?... ¡Por eso estoy aquí!...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}

Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
