Hello #Hive photography lovers!... My town is a place where many houses from the beginning and middle of the 20th century are still standing, so from time to time I go out to walk the streets and take the opportunity to take a look at the old windows that stubbornly remain on the old facades of some houses that are even on the verge of falling... For me windows are one of my favourite ‘photographic fetishes’, so it is normal that during my occasional ‘monitoring’ of windows I can take pictures of some of those I have photographed before. But it happens that windows change with time!... And sometimes they even disappear, which is a real pity from my point of view!... But, I'll stop talking too much and I urge you now to look at these dozen windows which I brought with me today to share with you on #Hive...

¡Hola amantes de la fotografía en #Hive!... Mi pueblo es un lugar en donde aún están en pie muchas casa de comienzos y mediados del siglo XX, así que de ves en cuando salgo a recorrer lasa calles y aprovecho de dar un vistazo a las viejas ventanas que siguen testarudamente en las ancianas fachadas de algunas casas que incluso están a punto de caer... Para mi las ventanas son uno de mis "fetiches fotográficos" preferidos, entonces en normal que durante mi ocasional "monitoreo" de ventanas pueda yo hacer fotos de algunas las cuales he fotografiado antes. Pero sucede que ¡las ventanas cambian con el tiempo!... ¡E incluso muchas veces desaparecen, lo cual es una verdadera lástima desde mi punto de vista!... Pero, dejaré de hablar demasiado y los conmino ahora a mirar esta docena de ventanas las cuales traje hoy para compartir con ustedes en #Hive...

The recent days we have had cloudy skies and that ‘soft box’ lighting effect that these whitish skies make, is ideal for photographing windows with even light, thus avoiding annoying shadows, harsh lights and exaggerated contrasts, so when I go down the street and the weather is like this, then I take advantage of photographing windows and even doors. On the other hand, I don't have a special favourite lens, but I use to do this most of the time with a fixed 50mm lens which I find quite comfortable and efficient for the kind of photos you are looking at in this post.

Los día recientes hemos tenido cielos nublados y ese efecto de iluminación tipo "caja suave" que hacen estos cielos blanquecinos, es ideal para fotografiar ventanas con luz pareja, evitando así sombras molestas, luces duras y contrastes exagerados, así que cuando voy por la calle y el clima está así, entonces aprovecho de fotografiar ventanas e incluso puertas. Por otra parte, no tengo un lente favorito en especial, pero acostumbro a hacer esto la mayoría de las veces con en lente fijo 50mm el cual me resulta bastante cómodo y eficiente para el tipo de fotos que están mirando esta publicación.

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.

NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografías capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.
