Desgajado legado de agosto en tu regazo
Meses ya de espera
Remansos de tiempos adormecidos
Y entonces aparece la sombra de tu sombra
Asoma su curiosa ansia en el espejo de siempre
Allí se adorna de resignación.
Es la hija del asombro y sus mil quinientas noches de preñez
Sombra te invito a hurgar mis letras añejas
Abre la gaveta, esa la de la cómoda que bien conoces
Lleva el sobre hasta las manos de tu dueña
Susurra, como yo lo haría, a sus oídos
Esta soledad de hastíos y menguantes de otrora
Roza, como yo lo haría, su rictus sereno y su mano fría
Ese yermo cuerpo que fuera de mí guarida

Yo sigo en este lar desde entonces
