My last job was in Cromwell after starting off in Wanaka, then Queenstown.
I had it easy at Cromwell without struggles on site. So, I headed for Christchurch and had lots of time to stop along the way.
My first stop was at Bendigo Freedom Camping, I actually thought it was Lake Pukaki but quickly realized before making the turn to stop that it was a camping ground.
There wasn't much to see. Maybe if I had driven further in, I might see something of more interest, but the ducks certainly interest me, especially the baby ducks.
Quite a cool and relaxing spot for those who enjoy camping.
It was a brief stop as I continued on my drive to Christchurch.
