Tarras is a small village in the South Island of New Zealand. It is one of those small villages I drive past without taking notice of. For I know about Tarras, it is a small farming settlement village located in the South Island 🏝
I had the opportunity to meet a contractor to the company I work for last year, November, in Tarras village, which was my first time to stop there.
As at 2018, Tarras village population was at 607, the figures might have gone up for present day if people aren't leaving but staying.
I now take notice of Tarras after I have met someone there whenever I drive past the small village.
