Birds 🐦 are beautiful creatures that I wish to photograph more often, though they are very difficult to photograph 📸 due to their fast and unpredictable movement.
I had passed Tarras on State Highway 8 and turned onto State Highway 8A heading to Wanaka when I stopped for photos of the sheep and the White-faced heron. The heron felt my presence and moved away each time I got closer.
From a brief reading about the White-faced heron, they mostly found around shallow water and feed on sunburnan fish pond 🐟
