Mount Cook ranks up there amongst the top tourists spot in the South Island, New Zealand 🇳🇿 so I was fortunate to visit Mt Cook for the first on 30th December 2023, which was about my seventh week in New Zealand then. I was still a newbie in the country 😃
Seeing Mt Cook for the first time was too beautiful for me to comprehend but I was with my two other colleagues there aren't the hiking type so we didn't get to go for the Hooker Valley track, a three hours return walk.
I told myself I would be back at Mt Cook for the Hooker Valley walk. So, admist my busy work schedule, I went for the walk with my hiking partner on the 30th of November 2024, 11 months after my first time there.
The Hooker Valley walk is so liberating, beautiful, and breathtaking 😍.
