It was past 5 pm, and still two hours of driving left to Christchurch for me. Peketā presented an irresistible view that I couldn't ignore but stopped for photos and video.
The rocks 🪨 in the sea are wonderful to watch.
Interestingly, some sea lions climbed quite high from the sea to lay on the rocks.
And I have always wanted to stop at the bridge, so I was glad I did as it presented me with a wonderful sight.
This was my last stop as I drove along Kaikoura coastline. The stops delayed my arrival to the but definitely worth it.
